Hunter got out of the car and ran to the dark alley with Brian tugging behind him. There, near the dumpster, sat a woman holding a rod glinting in the morning light.
"Sugar?" Hunter raced towards her like a madman as if his life depended on it. Another woman was standing near her, who must be Lina.
Hunter squatted, holding Sienna's hand, "Hey," He gently held her hand and freed the rod out of her grip.
"You're not supposed to touch it," Lina spoke from nearby, "Your fingerprints might print on it…"
Hunter knew that the girls had watched enough crime movies to make that remark. He ignored her completely and kept his focus on Sienna, "Love…" He tilted his head to look at the injured man, who seemed to have passed out, but thankfully was alive
