"Do you think I can really do it?" Arabella asked as they walked together through the garden. "You know, the prophecy," she added, her voice quieter this time.
Enzo glanced at her and smiled. "I believe there is nothing you can't do, judging from everything you have survived."
Arabella smiled faintly at his words before reaching for his hand. The moment their fingers intertwined, she stopped walking and looked down at their joined hands.
A strange tingling sensation ran through her palm and traveled up her arm.
"Strange," she murmured. "When did I start feeling this tingling sensation whenever our hands touch?"
Enzo looked down at their hands before looking back at her.
"Since you awakened your Lycan."
Arabella tightened her fingers around his for a moment, realizing that it made sense.
"But she is asleep," she said. "She always goes to sleep whenever she helps me fight. If she really is a Lycan, then she is a weak one." she said with her face soured
