"Are you enjoying the class?"
The voice came from beside me. I turned my head slightly and saw a figure leaning casually against the pillar. His posture was relaxed, but his eyes were fixed on me with quiet curiosity.
I tried to ignore the question at first and looked ahead, pretending I hadn't heard him. But his gaze didn't move, and after a few seconds, it started to get on my nerves. I let out a slow sigh and gave in.
"Truthfully it feels shit.. It's like I am wasting my time being here. If not for validation I wouldn't want to be here."
My tone was flat, and I didn't bother hiding the irritation in my voice. I kept my arms crossed as I spoke, my eyes drifting toward the training field in front of us.
The man rubbed his chin thoughtfully, his fingers moving slowly as if considering my words.
"Can't say I don't feel you."
He shifted his weight slightly against the pillar, his lips curling just a little, not quite a smile.
