"The kids are all sleeping" I say to unnie.
It's my job to give her an update on the children even though it's eleven p.m. and it's completely dark outside.
The plan to leave the kids at the house is being hard on her, but taking Sooin to her parents is important.
That sweet little girl has been crying for Taesan and Seoha for a whole day.
Taerin unnie employed five different women to look after the kids, doubled her guards and set up baby monitors in almost all the rooms.
She loves orphans a lot, and she has dedicated her life to taking care of children like that.
"Unnie?" I call as I crane my neck to check on her.
She has nodded off on the couch.
Her mouth is hanging open, a coffee mug is on the little table next to her, and her eyes are half open.
I feel so sorry for her.
She tries to act like Taesan by being tough and cold, but she has to be the most empathetic person I have ever met.
