Seoha's POV
Nothing prepared me for the sight in front of me.
Tears are forgotten, fears are forgotten, I just watch the alpha get hit across the face with a cane by the man from the meeting room, his own grandfather from what I know.
My jaw drops open and I slap my palm over my mouth in shock.
I keep watching them, staying frozen till Taesan starts to follow the elderly man, he looks like the last thing he wants to do is follow him and my body surges forward before I think twice.
And that's when Taesan's eyes find mine, dark, warning and just full of bottled anger, but I ignore him as I take the first step forward.
Taesan shakes his head and a hand is slapped over my mouth, and I'm pulled backwards into a sturdy body with force, "let me go!" I growl and claw at the hands of the person.
"Don't be stupid" Junho's voice says and the beta keeps me pressed to his body while I struggle, "he's- that man is going to hurt him!" I say through my teeth, trying to fight his hands off me.
