Chapter 19 - Chapter 16 : The Anthem of the Unanchored

The Galaxy's Melodies

The next day, Mina burst into Kaelen's room in a whirlwind of excitement.

She was practically vibrating, her silver thread sparking with anticipation.

"Kael! You have to get ready!" she exclaimed, waving her device in the air.

"There's a massive concert happening at the Fortress today!"

"They're holding it to motivate the people and help them relax after that void-storm."

While the recent storm hadn't been dangerous, its sheer strength had rattled the residents of Aegis-7.

"Idols from Galaxy ESE 383-76 are coming!" Mina squealed.

"That's one of the largest galaxies in the known universe!"

"And my favorite girl group, Pink Purple, is the headliner!"

"All four members are here! We have to hear them sing 'Pink Purple in the Sector' live!"

The Golden Tickets

Kaelen looked up from his study terminal, his expression characteristically neutral.

"Calm down, Mina," he said softly. "Do you even have tickets for something that big?"

Mina crossed her arms and gave a playful, haughty huff.

"What do you think of this miss, Kaelen?"

"Although I don't show it off, I do have some background!"

She swiped her screen, displaying four glowing VIP digital passes.

Kaelen raised an eyebrow. "And what about Sora and Leo?"

Mina grinned, already pulling him toward the door.

"I have four tickets right here! I've already messaged them."

"Lets go, lets go, lets go!"

The Interstellar Arena

As they stepped out of the beehive quarters and into the central hub, the atmosphere of the Fortress had transformed.

The usual military discipline had given way to a festive, electric hum.

Banners representing the ESE 383-76 sector floated in the air, shimmering with starlight.

Sora and Leo were already waiting at the transit station, Sora looking curious about the tech.

Leo was trying to act cool, but even his ribbon showed signs of excitement.

"About time," Leo remarked, though he couldn't hide his interest in the VIP section.

Sora was staring at the massive speakers being calibrated by technicians.

"I wonder if their vocal resonance is boosted by Ribbon-conductive mics," she mused.

Mina ignored the tech-talk and grabbed Kaelen's arm again.

"Less talking, more walking! The show is about to start!"

The Symphony of the Void

The atmosphere in the Aegis-7 Arena was unlike anything Kaelen had ever felt.

The air was dense with the Loom-phase auras of the four idols, their presence alone acting as a stabilizer for the thousands of fans.

Mina, Sora, and Leo stood in the VIP gallery, their eyes fixed on the stage as the lights dimmed to a deep, royal violet.

Suddenly, four silhouettes appeared, their armors gleaming under the artificial suns of the fortress.

The Idols of Pink Purple

The group consisted of four women, each a master of high-level Loom cultivation, their bodies encased in specialized Armors not mecha for better performance.

Rina (Leader): Her armor was sleek and aggressive, with Back Wing Assemblies that pulsed in a rhythmic violet glow.

Maki (Vocalist): She wore a specialized Helmet / Visor Unit that translated her vocal resonance into visible energy waves.

Yuna (Dancer): Her Core Undersuit and Thigh Armor Plates were designed for maximum mobility, allowing her to blur across the stage.

Hana (Visual): Her Chest Armor Plate and Forearm Gauntlets were etched with glowing energy accents that flickered like stardust.

As they began their hit song, "Pink Purple in the Sector," the sound didn't just hit the ears; it vibrated through the students' Ribbons.

The Performance: Unanchored

The lyrics roared through the stadium, a defiant anthem against the darkness of the vacuum:

"No one can unanchor us, we are the best of the best!"

"We are the humanity who live to grow, we will find the way to explore the multiverse!"

"How can we be afraid of the void? We are the mighty humanity!"

The idols moved with a synchronization that only a high-level mind-to-armor connection could achieve.

Their Energy Accent Lighting Systems flared with every high note, casting long shadows of pink and purple across the cheering crowd.

They weren't just singing; they were demonstrating the peak of human evolution—the marriage of art, soul, and military-grade technology.

The Veyron Resonance

Kaelen stood at the railing, his blue eyes reflecting the chaotic beauty of the performance.

Usually, he remained detached, analyzing the efficiency of the event rather than feeling it.

But as the chorus peaked, he felt his own Crimson Thread begin to pulse in perfect harmony with the song.

They are right, Kaelen thought, his heart racing. We aren't just surviving the void. We are conquering it.

The performance was so powerful that it managed to pierce through his cold logic.

Even Kaelen felt that their performance was so good that it truly motivated him.

He was convinced—not just of the Federation's power, but of the path he had to take to reach the levels Hanes had whispered about.

The Aftermath

As the final notes faded and the idols vanished in a burst of light, the stadium remained silent for a heartbeat before erupting in a roar.

Mina was breathless, her silver thread glowing brighter than it ever had before.

"Did you see them, Kael? Did you feel that?"

Kaelen didn't look away from the empty stage.

"I felt it," he said softly.

"I think... I finally understand why the Union allow building large fanbase for idol groups."

"It's not just to keep the void out. It's to give us a reason to stay motivated to find new things."
