It's a nice day in the south blue. The sun is out. The seagulls are singing. The waves are calm.
Everything is quiet and peaceful.
Just then, Billie starts to wake up.
'The heck?…, wait, what the hell?!' Asked Billie confused.
Looking around he finds himself in the middle of nowhere onboard a boat.
'Where the hell am I??' Asked Billie.
Just like that, he see's a chest near his feet.
'Oh please, let it be a map' says Billie in hopes.
Opening it, to his surprise, it's not a map…
But a strange looking fruit.
'Shit' said Billie in fear of starvation.
Not wanting to die Billie decided to risk it and ate the fruit.
Not wanting to throw up, he swallowed hard.
'The hell was that anyway?' Asked Billie to himself.
Just then, he felt different. He felt…, strong.
He then saw a book near the empty chest and began reading.
It was evolving the fruit he just ate.
It was the mori mori no mi. A Logia type devil fruit.
'Devil fruit?…, I'm. In one piece??' Asked Billie in shock.
Looking at himself, he realized, he has the power of nature.
Not wasting time, he starts turning one of his fingers into a plant, then put it in the water…, absorbing it through his finger.
'Ahhh~. That's better' said Billie.
As he does this, he began turning his body into a fruit tree.
'time for breakfast' says Billie grabbing a few banana ribs then a apple from his hair.
As he eats, he hears seagulls around him.
'Hey!, ya lot hungry?!' Asked Billie waving at the seagulls.
Just like that a seagull flew down to eat.
To Billie's surprise, it was a news coo.
'How many apples for today's news??' Asked Billie.
The bird showed three.
Just like that, Billie traded three apples for a single newspaper.
After that, he began reading the papers.
Realizing the year, he was surprised.
'I'm in the year, Doflamingo killed his father' says Billie.
Seeing the news, Billie began a plan for his new life here.
'If I want to make a living, I need a job till Gol D Roger dies' says Billie.
'I got it, I'll be a bounty hunter for the time being. After the great pirate era starts, I'm a pirate' says Billie to himself.
After planning, he starts rowing the boat to find an island near by.
