Emma rushed down the busy street, juggling her laptop bag and coffee cup. In her hurry, she didn't notice the tall, impeccably dressed man stepping out of the building.
Crash! Her coffee cup slipped from her hands and spilled all over him.
"Oh my god! I'm so sorry!" Emma exclaimed, mortified.
The man looked down at the wet suit, then at her wide-eyed face. "It's… fine," he said calmly, though a flicker of surprise crossed his eyes.
Their gazes locked for a brief second. Something in that moment—a spark, a tension—passed between them. Emma's heart raced, and the bustling street around them seemed to fade away.
"I-I'll clean this up!" she stammered, reaching for some napkins from her bag.
"No, leave it. Really," he said, his voice low but commanding. "But… you should be more careful next time."
Emma nodded, embarrassed yet intrigued. There was something about him—his presence, his air of control—that made her pulse quicken.
As she walked away, she couldn't help but glance back. The man, this mysterious billionaire she had just met in the most chaotic way, seemed to have left a mark—not on her clothes, but on her mind.
