"Cousin, we haven't had time to discuss," Rowan slowly blocked Lucien's path in the grand hall, folding his arms.
"I cannot speak with you now, Rowan. I need to find–"
"Elian?" Rowan smiled. "Relax, cousin, he is with Cassian outside. We're heading to the archery, and this time, I'm winning you." He winked.
Lucien scoffed. "If you look deeper, you would see that playing your little games are no longer my priority." Lucien stated.
Rowan nodded. "Hmm, I noticed." He stepped closer. "Though, I'm curious, how on earth did you get Elian to forgive you?"
Lucien finally smiled, a proud, mocking smile. "Love." He shrugged.
Rowan almost barked out a sharp laughter if not for the maids that were walking past them at the moment.
He awaited until they were gone and cleared his throat. "Really? Should we be worried? Do I need to get Soren to check on you? Are you still my cousin–"
