"Nothing," Elian quietly shut the door to Lucien's study, leaning his back against it and shutting his eyes.
"Hey, hey, hey..." Lucien went up to him and pulled him gently into his arms, kissing his head. "It's alright, you need to rest now." He whispered quietly.
Elian sighed. "We need to get as many witnesses as we can–"
"And we will, Elian," Lucien cupped Elian's face, lifting it to gaze into his eyes. "We will, I promise, but... I cannot have you burned out, not when I know we can still do this slowly and still get a positive result." He smoothed Elian's hair.
"Alright, love?" Lucien asked, stroking Elian's cheeks softly with his thumb.
Elian nodded softly. "Alright, love." He smiled.
"I love you," Lucien sealed his lips on Elian's, kissing him softly.
"Mm, can we go up..." Elian broke off to whisper in Lucien's ear, tracing his fingers down Lucien's abdomen.
Lucien smirked. "Why?" He questioned, a knowing look in his eyes.
