Chapter 131 - OPHK: Chapter 131

"I still haven't been able to analyze your abilities. I initially thought you were a cyborg who ate a Devil Fruit, but after receiving the combat footage from the Navy, I'm not so sure. Where does your power truly come from?" Vegapunk mused to himself after a brief moment of thought.

"The great Holy Light deceives me!" Grimm chuckled lightly.

"Don't try to fool me with Holy Light. I only believe in science!" Vegapunk asserted his conviction, appearing very calm.

Grimm was somewhat curious about Vegapunk's fearless demeanor. "Aren't you afraid I'll send you to hell? Or do you believe your intellect can save your life!"

There were no Den Den Mushi for surveillance here, and the guards were outside the door. Grimm could have easily dispatched the defenseless Vegapunk within the two seconds it took for the guards to rush in.

"If you wanted to kill me, you would have done it already. Besides, you're not a Devil Fruit user, and we have no enmity. You went to such lengths to come here; you must have a certain objective!" Saying this, Vegapunk raised one finger, then a second finger:

"Secondly, don't forget, this is my office. When it comes to my personal safety, I have the home-field advantage. I was a criminal before, after all!"

"Are you saying your technology is confident it can surpass my strength?" Grimm asked calmly, a hint of a smile flashing in his eyes.

"This question isn't even worth discussing!"

Vegapunk put his hands in the pockets of his white coat. "Three years ago, that CP0… that was you in disguise, wasn't it? And you're here this time for the same reason, aren't you?"

"If you had faith in Holy Light, you would definitely be an excellent Paladin," Grimm complimented Vegapunk. "So, what are the results?"

"Recently, the molding technology for Seastone processing handcuffs has been completed, which took a lot of effort. Furthermore, processing them into weapons and ammunition is even more complex. And, the superiors have asked me to slow down the processing of bullets because Luke has recently created quite a few good weapons. The government isn't in a hurry for Seastone weapons; they want me to research Seastone shipbuilding technology first."

Vegapunk wore an expression of "You don't understand my difficulties."

Grimm scratched his head and finally clicked his tongue. "How about this, give me a specific timeframe so I can make a plan."

Vegapunk gritted his teeth, closed his eyes, and pondered for a moment before slowly speaking, holding up three fingers. "Three years… no… at least five years!"

After speaking, Vegapunk added, "Don't misunderstand. This is already the fastest possible time. Keep in mind that developing Seastone handcuffs took me nearly three years, and the difficulty of ammunition is certainly higher than handcuffs, given it's a delicate process."

Grimm thought about it. Even Zephyr, the only one who used Seastone bullets, only started using them over twenty years later. Five years indeed wasn't long, and by the time all the plans were in motion, it would still take time…

"Alright, then five years…"

After saying this, Grimm smiled again. "If I don't see results within five years, you know the consequences. Holy Light does not tolerate deception!"

"Don't try to threaten me. You know, threatening me is useless, let alone using such a cheap provocation. If you truly kill me, it would be a loss for both of us," Vegapunk said directly, showing no signs of panic.

Grimm reverted to the scientist's appearance and smiled. "Talking to intelligent people is smooth, but it makes me feel quite uncomfortable!"

"By the way, I heard Garp is involved in the operation to capture the Pirate King's orphan. Where is he now?" Grimm thought of a question.

She was very interested in this woman who dared to be with the world's so-called demon, Roger. However, Roger hadn't mentioned it to him, and he didn't know which sea she was in.

"Are you trying to challenge Garp? Are you tired of living?" Hearing Vegapunk's speculation, Grimm sighed. As expected, Vegapunk had high intelligence, but his emotional quotient…

Vegapunk added, "But unfortunately, this place is completely sealed off. I have no knowledge of any Navy operations, including Garp's."

"Is that so? What a shame!" It seemed he still wouldn't be able to meet that woman. He had originally planned to go and see her.

Two hours later.

Grimm, disguised as a scientist, left Vegapunk's research institute and went to the Navy plaza's dock, blending into one of the warships to depart.

"Hmm? This ship isn't heading to the New World!" As the ship passed through the Gate of Justice, Grimm suddenly noticed something. It wasn't the same route as the one he took to Sekken Island in the New World. It didn't go through the Navy's special route to the top of the Red Line Continent and then to the New World.

Instead, it went directly through the Gate of Justice. This meant it was heading to the first half of the Grand Line!

"Never mind, I'm idle anyway. I'll follow along. I can still use Hearthstone! But what about Yasuo… He's terrible with directions. What if he gets lost… I won't worry about it for now. I'll deal with it when he gets lost. Let's go have some fun in Paradise first!"

Grimm had transformed into the appearance of an ordinary soldier. He noticed a man standing at the bow of the ship, wearing a large Navy robe, with Navy insignia on his shoulders indicating a Vice Admiral rank.

Feeling a slight curiosity, he asked a nearby Navy soldier, "Where is our destination!"

Although "Disguise" could absorb the memories of others, Grimm chose whether to accept the memories. While at Marine Headquarters, Grimm had not chosen to accept any of the Navy soldier's memories, as it was unnecessary.

The other Navy soldier on the side looked as if he had seen a ghost. "Kid, are you still asleep? We're about to face a major battle. Our destination is Pirate Town, Isana Island!"

"Pirate Town?" Grimm scratched his head, feigning an expression of trying to recall.

"Ah! According to the latest intelligence, it's currently occupied by the Titan Pirates. It used to be a gathering place for a bunch of scoundrels who committed all sorts of evil deeds. But later, Teacher Zephyr took care of it. Recently, with the dawn of the Great Pirate Era, pirates have become rampant again, so Vice Admiral Sid wants to wipe them out before they get too strong."

This soldier was probably very bored and had nothing to do, so he ended up telling Grimm so much information.

"Titan Pirates? Isn't that the name of legendary giants?" Grimm smiled faintly.

"The captain seems to be a Giant," the soldier said, yawning. "But with Vice Admiral Sid here, we'll be fine!"

From this person, he learned quite a bit of information: the destination was an island called "Isana," the mission was to eliminate a pirate gathering place, and the Vice Admiral leading them was named Sid, a user of the Paramecia-type "Hammer-Hammer Fruit" ability.
