"Since you've already made up your mind, then I won't hold back!" Nail said as his energy surged wildly.
A powerful aura erupted from his body.
Feeling Nail's overwhelming presence, Piccolo merely smiled faintly, showing no sign of panic.
"Boom!"
Without hesitation, Piccolo released all of his own energy.
His aura exploded outward.
Goku glanced over and laughed, making no move to stop them.
At this moment, Piccolo had pushed his power to the limit.
Judging purely from the intensity of their energy, Piccolo had already surpassed Nail.
Nail's expression changed slightly. He stared at Piccolo without blinking, shock filling his eyes.
"Do you still want to continue?" Piccolo asked with a confident grin.
Nail fell silent.
"Nail, stop. You're not his opponent," the Grand Elder said calmly.
"Yes, Grand Elder," Nail replied, bowing respectfully.
"So from today on, I'm the strongest Namekian," Piccolo said smugly, smiling.
Nail: "..."
"How did you train?" Nail asked sincerely. "I can sense that there's still tremendous power hidden inside you."
"Katas's child, I can tell that your body is incomplete. What happened to you?" the Grand Elder suddenly asked.
Piccolo was speechless.
What do you mean, my body is incomplete?
That sounds really weird…
"Haha, Piccolo and Kami used to be one person," Goku explained cheerfully. "Kami split himself off so he could become Earth's guardian. That's basically what happened."
Piccolo's face darkened. He shot Goku a glare.
You talk too much.
Only then did the Grand Elder understand.
"So that's how it is…" he sighed deeply. "If you were to merge with your other half again, you might be able to defeat Frieza."
"What?!" Piccolo was shaken. "You're saying that if I fuse with that old guy, I can beat Frieza?"
"I think so," Goku nodded.
Piccolo: "..."
He glanced sideways at Goku.
What are you 'thinking' about?
What do you even know?
"Based on my judgment, that should be the case," the Grand Elder said with a gentle smile.
Piccolo fell silent.
After a moment, he shook his head decisively and snorted.
"Hmph. No way! I'm not fusing with that old man! He's annoying, always acting so righteous!"
The Grand Elder only smiled faintly and didn't press the matter.
Time passed.
About twenty minutes later, all the Namekians had gathered, assembling on the platform outside the Grand Elder's house.
Krillin and the others helped carry the Grand Elder outside.
"Everyone, please hold hands. I'll take you somewhere safe," Goku announced.
Soon, all the Namekians—including the Grand Elder—joined hands.
"Goku, should we stay here and wait for you?" Krillin asked.
"Yeah. Wait here for a moment. I'll settle them first and come right back," Goku nodded.
He was about to teleport them away.
"Wait!" the Grand Elder suddenly said.
Goku stopped and looked at him in confusion.
"Mr. Son Goku, are you planning to stay and fight Frieza?" the Grand Elder asked.
"Yes, that's right," Goku replied.
"Frieza is extremely powerful," the Grand Elder said gently, shaking his head. "With just the few of you… I'm afraid you may not be able to defeat him. You are all good people. You should come with us and leave this planet."
"Don't worry, Grand Elder," Goku said, shaking his head. "If I don't stop him here, he'll find you again someday."
"Don't worry!" Krillin laughed. "Goku is really strong. He'll definitely beat Frieza!"
The Grand Elder looked at Goku with gratitude.
Such good people…
After a brief silence, he spoke again.
"Since you insist on staying to challenge Frieza, let me give you a gift."
"A gift?" Goku blinked.
"Come here," the Grand Elder said, beckoning.
"Okay," Goku replied, walking over.
The Grand Elder gently placed his hand on Goku's head.
"Huh? Why are you touching my head?" Goku asked in confusion.
The moment their contact was made, the Grand Elder's pupils shrank.
His entire body trembled.
This… this person…
The energy inside him… I can't even see its limits!
How strong is he?
Now I understand why he dares to face Frieza.
He really does have that ability.
"What's wrong, Grand Elder?" Goku asked, still puzzled.
"Whoosh!"
A mysterious power flowed from the Grand Elder's hand, spreading over Goku's body.
Goku was stunned.
His energy erupted violently.
A vast aura spread outward in all directions, centered on him.
The shockwave nearly shattered the cliff.
Fortunately, Goku reacted quickly and restrained his aura, preventing the mountain from collapsing.
"That's amazing!" Goku exclaimed in delight.
Feeling his power carefully, he realized that his strength had recovered to at least thirty percent of his former peak.
I trained for so long and only got back to ten percent…
And with the Grand Elder's help, I jumped straight to thirty!
Goku was both shocked and overjoyed.
Then he suddenly thought of something and glanced behind him.
Too bad… my tail still hasn't grown back.
"Your… your energy…" the Grand Elder murmured in disbelief. He hadn't expected Goku's power to be this terrifying.
"Thank you so much, Grand Elder!" Goku said happily. "I feel way stronger now!"
"You're welcome," the Grand Elder smiled. "I merely guided the power that was already hidden within you."
Then he looked at Piccolo and the others.
"For those who plan to stay and fight Frieza, I can also help unlock your hidden potential. If you wish, come to me."
Krillin and the others lit up with excitement.
So we can get stronger like this too?
One by one, Krillin, Piccolo, Gohan, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha stepped forward.
With the Grand Elder's help, their hidden power was awakened.
Their strength rose to an entirely new level.
