Arriving at their home with it begin in the center of the village and on the way here almost all of the villagers had paid their respects to them when we walked pasted, I guess I should say "us" since they had let everyone that we met now that I was their daughter.
'And apparently from what I was able to hear from some of the villagers that they'd stopped to talk too, they did have a daughter that was kidnapped a long time ago and have been looking for her ever since but never found her.
So, with me being adopted by them has been a big deal for the village along for them as well, and being that they are the chief there would be a celebration to welcome me.'
Leaving my thoughts once we walk through the door my adopted mother takes my hand while she smiles to me, before turning and leading me to another room. That's well furnished and has me take a seat, she kneels in front of me.
For when we made eye contact there was an unrecognizable look in them.
Turning to my now adopted dad and brother before nodding to them just for them to nod back to her, and going to another room.
Mom turns back to look at me with that same expression in her eyes, and squeezes my hands gentle.
"My name is Asia for your brother and father are Jack and Leo, I know you have a...lot of questions, and we will answer them. But first I think that some things will be clear for you once's you've heard our explanation."
Hearing both of my adopted father and brother footsteps, making their way to the room were in. I look back to mother to see worry, fear, and that... one expression I can't quite figure out.
I nod to her causing her to smile and her shoulders to relax a bit before looking over her shoulder grabbing a cup, that had a weird smell to it. But it wasn't unpleasant for it had an sweet smell to it.
Handing it to me causing me to look at the drink in her hand, before having our eyes meet. To see that she was smiling, trying to reassure me when she said.
"I know the drink smells... a little weird but it's completely safe, plus it will help you feel refreshed from you journey here. For I'm sure you haven't drank or eaten anything since you've awaken, have you," Nodding to her she gestures to the cup again for me to drink it.
Looking at the sustains again before taking it into my hands glancing, at the three that are my adopted family. To see them smiling at me trying to assure me, that everything will be explained.
I bring the cup to my lips before allowing the drink to touch my tongue, tasting the sweet taste that I had smelled.
But also of that weird smell I couldn't make out do to the sweetness, but it was more than pleasing. For the uncomfortable feeling I was having earlier, to be gone... completely.
To where I'm not only refreshed but I feel an incredible boast to all of my stats.
Finishing the drink with the last bit's going down my throat, I went back to sitting straight sense I had tilted my head slightly back when I was drinking.
Open my eyes I see my adopted mother with her hands covering her mouth, with tears going down her cheeks. While only having my adopted father hand on her shoulder, for he was smiling. But you could see that he was trying to fight back his own emotions as well.
Looking to my adopted brother who was now much more tense, but in a way that spoke of disbelief and incredulity of the situation. I tilted my head slightly before asking, "mother, father is... there something wrong?"
Asia: Hearing my daughter question while I can no longer stop the tears from falling, I place my hand on top of hers, 'it's...it's really her... she's... she's found her way back to us.
After all these years of looking, searching, gathering information... she's comes back home to us... on her own.'
Looking into her eyes to see the confusion in them as she waits for a reply, while she cutely tilts her head. Making me want to pull her into my embrace.
Leaving my thoughts smiling to her "I-it's nothing my sweet girl,were just happy to have a daughter again. Making our family now complete once again.
Also, we did promise you an explanation to your questions, but first do you want more of the drink that you just had? and something to snack on before then, sense we do have the celebration taking place in a few hours in your honor."
Licking my lips unconsciously before looking at the now empty cup and back to my mother I feel my cheeks start to heat up, while I hand the cup to her "y-yes please mother."
Adverting my gaze from her to feel her smile at me for my cheeks, are now completely red I feel her take the cup from me.
(30 minutes later)
Sitting at a round table with another cup of the drink I had earlier, for this time I was nursing it to enjoy it more. Unlike I did the first one, as we also had some snacks in the middle of the table.
While they all smile at me, taking another sip of the sustains mother is the first to speak.
Asia: "Why, don't we start with proper introductions this time, sense I only told you our first names before we actually begin. My name is Asia von moon."
Taking a deep breath, I drop the illusion skill that was up, showing my true appearance to her.
Seeing her appearance causes me to stand up while an image appears my in my head only for it go away, along with the voice. For, I couldn't completely hear what it the image said.
But from the brief second that I was about catcha glimpse of the appearance and it bearded similarity to my adopted mom. Trying to think more on it with the brief moment that I managed to catch the glimpse of it, it caused my head to throb making me stumble before managing, to place my hand on the table while using my other hand to clench my head.
