Chapter 103 - Ch 103- Alvin vs Kizaru

On the ice plain outside Frost Flower City, the cold wind howled, and snowflakes danced.

Alvin and Kizaru stood facing each other, the air between them seemingly frozen.

The light sword in Kizaru's hand gleamed with dazzling light, reflecting on his face, making him appear particularly eerie.

"What terrifying killing intent~" Kizaru drawled lazily, his voice elongated, but his gaze was locked tightly on Alvin, not relaxing his vigilance in the slightest.

Alvin didn't respond, merely slowly raising the Demon Blade chronicle in his hand. The blade was instantly enveloped in a crimson glow, as if it had drunk its fill of blood.

The bloody aura emanating from the blade formed a stark contrast with Kizaru's light sword, one red and one yellow, as if representing two completely different powers.

"Swish!"

Kizaru's figure suddenly vanished from his spot. The next second, he appeared to Alvin's left, his light sword chopping down without hesitation.

The light sword cut through the air, emitting a piercing hum, as if even space itself was being torn apart.

Alvin reacted incredibly fast, Chronicle instantly blocking to his side. The crimson blade collided with Kizaru's light sword, letting out a deafening boom.

Two powerful forces erupted at the moment of impact. The surrounding ice instantly shattered, and countless ice shards flew in all directions, like an ice and snow storm.

"Oh? Not a bad reaction~" Kizaru raised an eyebrow, a hint of teasing in his tone, but his movements didn't pause in the slightest.

His figure vanished again, then reappeared to Alvin's right, the light sword chopping down once more.

Alvin snorted coldly, Chronicle drawing a graceful arc in the air, the blade precisely blocking Kizaru's attack.

Both of their speeds were at their peak. Amidst the flashing blades and swords, their movements were almost indistinguishable, only the continuous clang of metal and the sound of shattering ice could be heard.

"Boom!"

Another fierce collision, and Alvin and Kizaru both retreated a few steps simultaneously.

Kizaru's face still bore that lazy expression, but his breathing had changed slightly.

Alvin, meanwhile, gripped Chronicle tightly, a hint of solemnity in his eyes.

"As expected of an Admiral, truly troublesome," Alvin murmured, a trace of apprehension in his voice.

It seemed that by refusing the Seven Warlords of the Sea invitation, the World Government had begun to be wary of him. However, from Kizaru's performance, it was likely a test.

Of course, he also harbored the intention of doing his best.

"You're not bad either~" Kizaru chuckled, raising his light sword again, "However, I'm going to get serious now~"

Before he finished speaking, Kizaru's figure vanished again. This time, his speed was even faster than before, appearing directly above Alvin in an instant.

The light sword, carrying dazzling light, chopped straight down towards Alvin's head.

Alvin's pupils constricted. Chronicle was swiftly raised, and the blade collided with the light sword once more.

However, Kizaru's strength was clearly much greater this time. Alvin felt his arm sink, and the ice beneath his feet instantly cracked, his entire body being pressed downwards.

"Crack!"

The ice completely shattered, and Alvin's figure fell directly beneath the ice layer.

Kizaru stood on the ice, looking down, a slight smirk on his lips, "Oh dear, this is troublesome~"

No sooner had he spoken than a powerful aura suddenly erupted from the ice cave.

Immediately after, a crimson blade light shot up from the ice cave, heading straight for Kizaru.

Kizaru's eyes narrowed, and he quickly dodged.

The blade light grazed his body, splitting a huge crack in the ice behind him.

The crack was bottomless, as if dividing the entire ice plain in two.

"That was truly dangerous~" Kizaru patted his chest, feigning a look of lingering fear, but his eyes became even sharper.

Alvin's figure leaped out of the ice cave, landing steadily on the ice.

He was covered in ice shards, but his gaze was even more piercing than before.

On Chronicle's blade, the crimson light grew even more dazzling, as if responding to its master's fighting spirit.

"Kizaru, if you don't get serious, be careful you don't get hurt," Alvin said coldly, a hint of provocation in his tone.

"Oh? Is that so?" Kizaru chuckled, raising his light sword again, "Then let this old man see what else you've got~"

Their figures collided once more. Amidst the flashing blades and swords, the battle on the ice plain grew even more intense.

Every collision was accompanied by a huge roar and the sound of shattering ice, as if the entire world trembled in their battle.

In the distance, on the city walls of Frost Flower City, Queen Ella and Linna and others were nervously watching the battle.

Queen Ella's face was a bit tired, clearly not fully recovered from last night's "madness," but her eyes were filled with worry.

"Can Lord Alvin...win?" Linna asked softly, a tremble in her voice.

"I don't know..." Queen Ella shook her head, a complex look in her eyes, "But no matter what, he won't give up easily."

Seeing the terrifying energy of the battle already affecting Frost Flower City, Ella's eyes flickered, as if she had thought of something, then she immediately hurried towards the office.

Just then, the battle on the ice plain suddenly changed.

Kizaru's figure vanished again, but this time, he didn't appear around Alvin, but directly behind Alvin.

The light sword, carrying dazzling light, stabbed straight towards Alvin's back.

"It's over~" Kizaru's voice sounded in Alvin's ear, with a hint of triumph.

Just as the light sword was about to pierce Alvin, Alvin's figure suddenly blurred.

Kizaru's light sword pierced through Alvin's body, but he felt no resistance, as if he had only pierced an illusion.

"What?!" Kizaru's face instantly changed.

"You're too confident, Kizaru," Alvin's voice came from behind Kizaru, with a hint of mockery.

Kizaru quickly turned around, but it was already too late. Alvin's Chronicle, carrying a crimson glow, chopped straight towards Kizaru's chest.

Kizaru only had time to hold his light sword horizontally in front of his chest, barely blocking the blow, but the enormous impact still sent him flying backward.

"Boom!"

Kizaru's body slammed heavily onto the ice, which instantly cracked, forming a huge ice crater. Lying in the ice crater, Kizaru's clothes were a bit disheveled.

"That's truly terrifying~" Before Kizaru finished speaking, his body directly elementalized, and a yellow light condensed into his body on the ice again, "It seems I underestimated you."

Alvin didn't respond, merely looking coldly at Kizaru, the Chronicle in his hand still emitting a crimson glow.

This battle was far from over.

Kizaru took a deep breath, the lazy expression on his face finally disappearing, replaced by a serious look.

The light sword in his hand was raised again, the light even more dazzling than before.

"Next, this old man is going to get serious~" Kizaru murmured, a dangerous aura in his tone.

Alvin gripped Chronicle tightly, a hint of fighting spirit in his eyes. The real battle had only just begun.

The wind and snow on the ice plain grew more violent, and their figures intertwined in the storm. Amidst the flashing blades and swords, the battle escalated once more.
