All I had once known was darkness. A bitter cold and an empty void.

This was my home. Yet to my dismay, it was stolen from me.

In return, I was given a new life, a life as a human.

Surrounded by such beings, I had come to know kindness, joy, and even love.

Yet the truth behind their facade was all too clear to me now.

Humans were no great thing I had to comprehend. They were merely beings here to serve my purpose... if I truly wished to be king.
