Airi climbed the sakura hill.
She didn't know why she came here so often.

Petals drifted around her.
She smiled faintly.
"…Airi?"
She turned.
A boy stood beneath the tree.
Silver hair.
Living eyes.
Human.
He looked nervous.
"Sorry," he said. "This might sound strange, but… I feel like I've been waiting to meet you."
Her heart skipped.
"Have we met?"
He shook his head slowly.
"No."
But his gaze softened with quiet certainty.
"I think… I would remember."
Something warm bloomed in her chest.
"Then maybe," she said, smiling through tears she didn't understand, "we're meeting for the first time."
He stepped closer.
Petals fell between them.
"I'm Ren," he said.
She took his hand.
Warm.
Real.
"I'm Airi."
Above them, the sakura whispered.
