I am Connie Smith! I am 16 years old and I unfortunately live on a boring town in South America. Well, it was until two years ago. When I saw the most beautiful boy ever known in land! He was like straight out of a movie! I saw him swinging by the tree while talking to a guy. I think that's his friend–but who cares!? That golden haired boy is all I ever wanted! I heard that he was attending the same school as me. Eek! Can't wait to go to school tomorrow! I hope we're in the same class in the same seat... Though, I don't know if I can talk to him... He's just... So perfect! Just thinking of him makes me blush!

"Done!" She said to herself as she closed her diary with a content smile which caught his brother's attention. "Whaddya doing? Let me see! Let me see!" He said while trying to reach the book that Connie quickly put out of reach the second she saw her. "No ew! Go away, you brat! This is privacy and you're not allowed to see it! Now, go away before I call mom!"
Her brother frowned but throw a ball at her in annoyance before sticking a tongue at her just to be twice as annoying, "Gosh–! MOM! TOBY'S HITTING ME WITH HIS BALL!" she yelled out which makes her mother rubbed her forehead downstairs, "Toby, what did I tell you about hitting your sister...? Also, go to bed, you two! You have school tomorrow!" Toby grunted and goes to the other side of the room where his bed filled with toys was and throws himself there. Connie rolled her eyes and turned off the lights before laying down.
As she stared at the ceiling, she can't help but think about that boy. It's unfortunate that she have to go to a different school back then because of her attitude but now, she's gonna attend the school where she knew the boy was going to! Oh, and she also got to hang out with her friend more! She smiled while thinking that.

"Good morning, Conn– AHH!? What the fuck happened to your face!?"
"Oh... Selena... Good morning..." Connie said with a sleepy voice as she looked at the girl her age wearing makeup and crop top. "That doesn't answer my question, girl... What the hell happened?" Selena asked once again. "Oh, what else? Toby's sleep talking and snoring kept me awake all night! I can't stand that boy! If only I had my own room, ugh...."
"Why did your parents think that sharing a room with a ten year old boy is a good idea, honestly? Kids are literally the worst creature in this planet!" She said as she flipped her hair before applying lipsticks to her lips. The both of them continued walking to go to the bus stop while talking. "By the way, what's your first class?" She suddenly asked. "Since when did you cared about that...?" "I'm just asking if we're in the same class, dumbass. Now, tell me."
Connie rolled her eyes but did answered, "Unfortunately, math... How about you?" "English. Huh, how unfortunate that we're not in the same class this morning..." The school bus finally stopped in front of them and opened the doors. "There's always other classes, though." She said as they got inside.
Just then, Connie froze. 'It's him...!' she thought to herself as she saw the same golden haired boy sitting at the very back of the bus, talking and having fun with students surrounding him. For a moment, it's like time froze. She couldn't hear or feel anything until a voice called her,
"–Nnie...!" Quiet at first, but then–
"Earth to Connie Smith!!! What the hell are you doing, standing there like you've seen a ghost!?" Selena said only loud enough that Connie could hear. Some students stared at them to see the commotion and before she could utter a word, Selena dragged her down to their seat quickly that she could feel air leaving her body. "What the hell!?" She spoke out loud which makes a lot of students now look. Including him. Poor Connie could only hide her face and act like nothing had happened.

"So, the area of–..."
Connie could barely hear the teacher explain stuffs that she couldn't understand. Why bother listening if you're not using it for future, right? She was yawning now and then, head lolling and trying hard to stay awake in fear that the teacher would notice and embarrass her in front of the whole class with faces she didn't know.
No, that's not the only thing that's worse... The boy was also here! Her wish came true but at the worse time! She swear that if she got home, the first thing she would do is to wrap her brother's mouth with duct tape!
She looked at him and, oh boy. He was perfect in any way! The way he rest his head on his arms, focused on the lesson while spinning his pen... His curls slightly falling. She swear she was falling more and more just by the sight of him! She can't wait till the end of the class. She wants to talk to him but he was literally far from her table. So out of reach... Finally, when she heard the bell rang, she didn't hesitate to pack up her things and went up to him.
'Oh my god...! It's really happening! I'm standing right in front him!' She squealed happily in her mind. "Heyy!" She greeted friendly, "I'm Connie! I'm new here so I guessed it would be better if I talk to someone..." The words caught the boy's attention and he looked at her, "You moved in?" He asked. To Connie, his voice was so perfect and dreamy. "No! Actually... I studied in a different school and I was a transferee here! I heard this place is good so I got in!" A big lie. She transferred just to see him.
"Is that so? I'm Markl–... Mark Louise! Nice to meet you!" Mark Louise? Oh, that's a perfect name for him. She thunk again. Gosh, just how much will you compliment every atom of him in your mind, Connie? "You seemed nice. I think my friends will like you." Ah, that's right... This boy is not a loner. In fact, everyone just seemed to steal glances whenever he walks by and Connie hated how she got competitions. "Is that so? Well, I'm curious to meet them!" "You already did! At the school bus!"
Wait, so those are his friends? Especially the one who looks like he could kill you? "Ahaha...! I didn't see them, actually!" Despite her hinting disinterest, it's like Mark didn't caught it and just smiled brightly at her. "Don't worry! I'm actually meeting my best friend since we shared the next class! Wanna join me? Oh wait, what's your next class though?"
That smile was just irresistible. Before Connie could even realise, she immediately agreed. "Don't worry about that! Let's meet your friend!" She said with a reassuring smile but inside, she was freaking out to why she agreed. Well, it's better now or never... "Really? That's great!"
Before she could process it, both of them were walking down the hall with each other. It was like a dream. She was literally blushing right now but refused to look up to face him who was rambling nonsense about how fun his friends are. She pretends to listen but in reality? She couldn't understand anything at all. Only responding with "it's that so?" Or "that's great!" Because of feeling overwhelmed.
"Markl." A boy who's taller than Mark called out. The same tanned guy who Connie saw earlier—the scary one. "James! Did I make you wait?" Mark asked light-heartedly. "No, I also just got here actually." He then turned to Connie, who was now staring at him too with cautious. "Who's this? A junior?" He asked with no interest which makes Connie frown. Her? A junior? How dare he! "You're so mean, James!" The golden boy said, "She's actually a transferee here! She wanted to meet the rest of our friends, including you!"
"Oh, well I'll be..." James replied. "I'm James. Markl's best friend." "...Connie... Connie Smith..." She introduced herself quietly, a big difference compared to how she does to Mark. "Don't worry! He doesn't bite!...much!" After Mark said that, he recieved a hit on the head from James to stop him from speaking more. "Ow!" "If you're gonna talk mean, do it without me, will ya...?"
Connie watched the both of them, silently cursing James for hitting the perfect boy on land. Though, she noticed that James called him in a different way...
Markl.
It's like a combination of Mark and Louise. But does it have a meaning to it? Oh, she will hate him even more if he think about a name to call someone special. "Oh yeah, where's your room, Connie? We could maybe take you there!" Markl then suggested. "Oh! I forgot about that! My next class is History right now..." "Ah! It's in front of English! You're lucky our rooms are just facing each other!"
Yeah... It is. Your friendly personality just makes Connie fall more in love to you. And she's glad that there's still someone so sweet and bright like him.
