"Meet my daughter, Charlotte Richards."
As Eric's eyes landed on her, his eyes immediately widened as he realized who she was.
"Y—You!"
Charlotte's eyes flinched for just a second, then she maintained her composure immediately, putting on a neutral face and pretending like she had never seen him before.
"Hm? You two have met before?" Chloe asked, raising a spoon to her mouth and taking a bite of food to taste it.
"Um, no not really." Eric relaxed a bit after reading the room, it was obvious that Charlotte kept that part of her life as a secret and had no intentions of telling her mom, so he played along.
"She just looked like someone I go to school with back in Nova City." He turned to face her with his hand outstretched. "I don't think we've met before, I'm Eric Kaiser."
Charlotte looked at him for a moment, her eyes were cold and unsettling, then she walked past him and sat down besides her mother.
"You didn't tell me we'd have more than one guest mom."
