Dinner was a very peaceful event without Liam... my wolf made it an unbearable event without Grace, but I want to let her rest. I keep thinking of her sleeping face and the way she held Liam like it's her own little boy..
I barely notice Vivian's presence. She is quiet and doesn't try to get close, so it's easy to ignore her.
After dinner, I meet with Levi and Matthew. in my office. Asher has slowly withdrawn himself ever since his Alpha left.
We normally do this meeting once a week, but since we were away for days, we decide to have one before calling it a night.
We discuss ongoing issues and make decisions where needed, finalize our story about Grace's presence in the pack, and work through a few random topics at the end. But the most recent event that's got me pissed was the kidnapping.
