The next morning, I woke up ready to go back home.
One of the maid rushed into my room to inform me that sir Sinclair wants to see me.
My heart trembled . In my head I was like what will he do ,will he kill me,will he beat me,will he maltreats me. I didn't know anything so I had to find out.
When I went to see him .
He said"why did you waste time like that "
"Sir, am sorry I was arranging my stuffs",
"Why".
"I know I have being sacked already no need saying it ".
"Who said that"did I".
"No sir you didn't ".
"So why are you saying that you are sacked".
"I thought so".
"No you aren't ".
"I have a proposal for you ,will you marry me".
"What!"
"Yes will you be my wife".
"Hell no. I will not".
"It was not a question it was an order ".
"You will marry me tomorrow by Noon . Go let your people know and you can't run from me remember ".
I was disgusted that I left the house crying.
I went to see my mum to explain to her cause I know ,she will be so angry .she warned me not to go to him but I didn't listen.
When I arrived home I saw her sitting on the sofa crying.
I wipe my tears and ran to asked her what's the matter.
She said the creditors came home and they asked for their money and if we don't provide the money . They will take all our properties.
I had no choice than to marry him cause I knew in one way or the other he will help me out .
I told my mum I want to marry Mr Sinclair.
"What! why"my mum responded.
He asked me to marry him and he is the only one who can help us settle our debts.
"No.You can't marry him,they must be another way".
"Mum,there is no way out. I know you wish me good but here we don't have a choice here".
"And even if I refuse,he said I don't have a choice here .it is a forced marriage".
"So let profits from it ".
"Why why me,my daughter am so sorry for putting you in this situation "
"No mummy don't say that .it is not your fault everything will be fine"
"Ok mummy i have to go see you tomorrow at noon for the marriage ".
"At noon why so early".
"He said that and i have to obey".
"Good bye mummy".
"Bye,my precious daughter ".
When I arrived home.
I walked in so quickly that I didn't notice him behind the door.
"Why did you take so much time".
"I trembled. sorry I had to discuss with my mum".
"No problem. Your dress was brought in ,it's in your room go try it out".
"Ok sir".I responded.
"No more sir ,just Sinclair for you".
"Ok ,Mr Sinclair ohh sorry Sinclair ".
"better" he said.
When I arrived in my room I saw the dress lying on my bed . It was so beautiful. While starring at the dress I started crying cause I could never imagine getting married to a mafia boss. One of the most feared man in the county,he love women and kills people.
I started asking my self what I did to deserve this.
I decided to have some rest and when I woke up it was the next morning.
Some people came in to get me ready.
I had to take my bath ,they got me dressed,makeup and the made my hair.
When they were done my mum came in and asked me if there is no other way.
"No mummy there is no way out and I started crying ".
She hugged me and said "you are a courageous girl ,don't be frightened by him always stand your ground ok".
"Ok. Mum"
My mum lead me down to the marriage hall and he was standing there starring at me with the same eyes of admiration and desire of always .
Then the ceremony began.
Then the question was asked "will you be Mr Sinclair wife". Tears rolling down my eyes .
In my head I was still thinking if this was good decisions and suddenly I glanced at his eyes and I saw the-same eyes of admiration and desire.Then i just said yes and he smiled a little.
People were surprised cause he rarely smiled but he did today.
After the marriage ceremony over.
I rushed to my room to rest .When I arrived there i didn't see any of my things so I started screaming and he rushed in "what is it".
"I can't see any of my things ".
"Ohh that ,they were moved to my room"
"Why did you do that"I responded.
"Cause you are now my wife you will be sleeping with me".
"If you think anything can ever happen between us you are joking".
"You think if I want something from you i will not get it . I always get what I want and nothing can stop me from getting that ,understood."
I didn't say a word i just left angrily to his room.
He came in the room and he said" you are my wife and it is your marital duty to satisfy me .
"I am your forced wife . I didn't marry you for love and am still a virgin".
"Virgin! Wow I have never met a virgin in my life it means am lucky".
"Lucky! don't even think I will sleep with you out of my own will except if you decide to rape me cause you are capable of doing horrible things".
"That's is what you think of me. Think what ever you want just know you will fall for me one day ".
"Me fall for you never".
"You will we see,anyways you can sleep on the bed i will sleep on the sofa".
"I will not sleep on this your bed I prefer sleeping on the floor ".
"Do what ever you like,that's your business "
He slept on the sofa and I slept on the floor .some hours later.
When I was in deep sleep he carried me and placed me on the bed. Then my eyes open a little but I still pretended I was sleeping and I felt His breath on mine and my heart shift a little.He placed me and left.
I started thinking of so many things which was not appropriate then I shook my head and said he can't like me ,he is just a criminal ,arrogant,and love women.
Then I started turn to sleep back.
The next morning I saw some maid arround me. The brought me breakfast and fixed a nice dress for me to wear after i took my bath. When I was done I ask them who ask you guys to do this.
"It is sir Sinclair who asked us to serve you properly like a queen".
"And why will he ask you people to do that ".
"We don't know Madame ".
"Why are you people calling me Madame "
"He asked us to that and he said if is we disrespect you we will be punished severely ".
I rushed out of my bed to meet him.
"Why did your instructs the maid to serve me like the Madame. You forced me into this life and you just want me to pretend like nothing has happened".
"What has happened exactly,that I forced you into this marriage without a choice. Yes I did and what next. You are stalk with me understood "He responded .
I didn't say a word i just rushed back to my room Angrily.
Then I asked myself "why is he so arrogant, so difficult. I hate him so much".
Later , I left the room again for the living room and he was gone.
Later In the evening i saw some people rushing in with him .
He was bleeding so bad . I had to called a doctor home for him.
The doctor came in and stopped the bleeding .
"You had your lucky you called me earlier madam .otherwise he could be a dead person by now".the doctor responded.
"What exactly happened ".madame.
"I don't know he was rushed in like this,bleeding ".
"Ok ,please you have to take good care of him . I was able to remove the bullet in him and I prescribed some medication please get it for him. He will be fine".
"Thanks doctor I will send your money for your work and for the Medicines .thanks".
I immediately rushed to the room to check
if he was ok and suddenly I felt like one part of me was sinking. I didn't know why but my heart was so heavy seeing him lying on this bed helpless.
For next fews days he was still unconscious . I had to clean him up ,take care of him,and feed him.
One afternoon he finally regained consciousness while I was still asleep near him . He started staring at me like he didn't expect me to stay by him.
When I woke up I saw him staring at me. I was so happy he was finally conscious.
"For how long have I being here"he asked.
" For a long time now ,like a week and the half ".
"What exactly happened to you"
"It is a long story and am not fit to explain to you now . I need some rest".
