Anyway... I recently went through a very difficult and exhausting transition period in my life—I won't bore you with the details—where, unfortunately, I didn't have the time to continue writing Foreign Shadow.
Now that transition period has finally come to an end, thanks the dead gods I dare say.
I really miss writing this, it was so much fun and I want to start again immediately. I've been reading your comments in the meantime, I'm really happy that you're enjoying and loving it as much as I am, and I really hope this writing hiatus hasn't made me rusty.
Worst case scenario, FUCK IT, I'll rewrite the bad chapters from scratch.
I am officially back!!!!!

Because it serves me as a motivational boost. It's not just to announce that "He's back," but also to inspire me to start writing again. Getting back to something after putting it on hold for so long isn't easy for a variety of reasons: creative performance anxiety, anticipation for the big comeback, the reptilians, and much more.
-When will the next chapter come out?
The purpose of this announcement is precisely to put pressure on me to start writing again. I'm literally starting to write again now as I type this announce.

I won't lie to you, there may be other breaks in the future. Also, since I've set myself the goal of finishing the first volume of Foreign Shadow with chapter 60, the next chapters will be much longer, so it will take some time to write them. Maybe starting with volume 2, I'll go back to doing a chapter a day, maybe! No promises here.
