Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

The last goblin's corpse still twitched as I cleaned my sword, the coppery scent of blood thick in the air.

On the left side her name's Rei and she's a Hunter.Rei is the cool, collected, and overprotective member of the party.

She's wearing a black open blazer over a black tank top.black pants, a choker, a simple string necklace, and a belt.

"You're putting too much whole-body strength into your thrusts," she said, her voice soft and melodic, like a mother gently correcting her child. She reached out, her slim fingers delicately adjusting my grip on the sword hilt, her touch cool against my skin. "A goblin's sternum is weak. It's not a log you're splitting. Think of it as… threading a needle. A sharp, precise prick right through the heart. It's more efficient, saves your energy for a real fight." She gave me a warm, reassuring smile, her violet eyes crinkling slightly at the corners. He has the heart for it, just needs the finesse, she thought.

Rei, leaning against a nearby tree with her arms crossed, snorted. She took a long drag from her hand-rolled cigarette, blowing the smoke out in a lazy plume. "Pricking? Fuck that. Don't think, just stab. Hard and fast. If it's still moving, stab it again. Aim for the neck or the gut. Make it so it can't run or scream. Efficiency is making sure they're the only one who dies." She pushed off the tree, sauntering over and nudging the dead goblin with her boot, her expression bored and dismissive. "Overthinking gets you killed. Just be a fucking animal."

Ashe sighed, shooting Rei a look that was more fond than annoyed. "Your methods are so… crude, Rei."

"They work," Rei shot back with a sharp grin.

On the right it's Ashe. She's a Elf and a Sorcerer.

She has long, blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and the characteristic pointed ears of her race. Her typical attire consists of a stylish blue dress with paired with a skirt and black thigh-high boots, a black belt with a small pouch, and a black shoulder cape that drapes over her shoulders.

The sun was beginning to dip below the treeline, painting the sky in strokes of orange and deep purple. The long, eerie shadows of the forest stretched towards us.

"Right," Ashe said, standing up and brushing dirt off her leather leggings. "The light's failing. We need firewood and something to eat before it's completely dark. Let's split up, but stay within shouting distance."

We ventured into the woods, the air growing cooler and filled with the scent of damp earth and pine. I focused on gathering dry branches, the snapping of twigs under my boots sounding loud in the encroaching quiet. A few yards away, Rei moved with a predatory grace, her eyes constantly scanning the undergrowth as she snapped thick branches from fallen logs with practiced ease. Further in, I could see Ashe, moving so silently she seemed to float. She was kneeling by a patch of bushes, her skilled hands deftly plucking dark, ripe berries and placing them in a small leather pouch. Every movement she made was economical and graceful, a stark contrast to Rei's brute force and my own fumbling attempts to be quiet. The forest was coming alive around us, the chirping of crickets starting its nightly symphony as the last sliver of sun vanished.

At first I couldn't believe that two s rank adventurers were going to be at my party. They should probably be the strongest people from the guild right?

My Name is Lihan. I'm a B Rank Adventurer who's Warrior Class. They both are amazing! I guess that's the power of S rank adventurers. I wonder if I can become as powerful as them. I have to become As Powerful as them. I guess I have to work hard with them. I'm honestly insecure about them carrying me hard for their journey. i know that lack skills but I'm willing to work hard to become like them.

Under the dense canopy, the forest comes alive with the chirping of crickets. A cool breeze whispers through the leaves, carrying the rich scent of pine and damp earth. The ground is soft with moss, and moonlight filters down in shifting, silvery patches.

"I can keep the watch too" but they resist and want me to rest as I've worked hard enough to defeat the goblin.Rei and Ashe offer to keep watch on night letting me sleep. I feel ashamed but cannot ignore that I need to rest. I close my eyes trying to sleep but subtly head what they say.

"Look at him Sleeping like a Log" Rei speaks as she pushes blanket further to me

"He really is pushing his limit these days. He was a puny little kid with big mouth when I first met him but now..."

"His Level of Determination is remarkable. He is working really really hard. Hope he doesn't hurt himself... But I'm so proud of him.. but I don't want him to be torn and weary" Ashe speaks politely with her Calm words

I'm so lucky to have party like them. She possesses a motherly charm, often looking out for the well-being of her party

"Yeah but he's only a kid in B rank. He'll pull it through. One day he'll be the greatest warrior in city. Let's take care of him until the day returns"

Even tho She presents a nonchalant and casual front to her friends, often being playful and sarcastic. Her loyalty is absolute, and she gets easily irritated if anyone insults her friends.

I really am lucky to have them. Ashe, with her motherly care, can make even the darkest, dungeon feel like home. And Rei… she's the storm at our side, her aggression a comfort, a promise that no one will ever fuck with us. They complete the party, and honestly, they keep me sane. I wouldn't want to do this without them.
