Chapter 105 - Chapter 102

Holy Land Mary Geoise, an ornately decorated pleasure boat, emerged from the gate and plunged into the water.

The coating separated the seawater, allowing the ship to sail into the deep ocean.

"Donquixote Doflamingo, can you really let me have that giant mermaid? I want her to be my wife."

Saint Charloss, a fat man with a runny nose, paced excitedly back and forth.

If it weren't for Garp and Musgarud's interference last time, he would have already captured that giant mermaid.

"Fufufufufufu~ Of course, now is the best time."

Doflamingo laughed. "Fish-Man Island won't dare disobey your orders this time. If you suffer even the slightest harm, all the Marines will swarm Fish-Man Island. They can't afford the consequences."

"Excellent!" Saint Charloss shouted excitedly. "If your plan succeeds, you can choose one of my eight wives as a reward."

Doflamingo's expression froze for a moment—he had underestimated just how idiotic this man was.

"Why aren't you thanking me?" Saint Charloss asked. "Is one not enough?"

He sniffled. "Then I'll give you more. I'm tired of them anyway..."

I can't get angry… not yet. I still need this idiot.

Invisible threads extended from Doflamingo, piercing into Charles's body.

"Doflamingo, you insolent dog—kneel and lick my shoes…"

Charloss was about to explode in anger when he suddenly sensed a terrifying aura from Doflamingo—similar to the straw-hat brat from before.

Doflamingo realized he had overestimated his patience.

Even he couldn't tolerate being insulted by a complete fool.

Still… he suppressed it.

The control strings can only control his body. I still need him alive for later…

Fish-Man Island possessed something far more valuable.

If he could control her, he would gain the power to conquer the world.

"Lord Charloss, please remain patient. We will soon obtain Princess Shirahoshi."

Doflamingo forced a smile.

"Okay… okay…"

Charloss trembled, snot dripping as fear overtook him.

At that moment, he regretted ever leaving Mary Geoise.

Doflamingo sat back down, casually spinning a bloodstained emblem resembling the Celestial Dragon hoof mark.

He had failed to uncover the truth of the Celestial Dragons' "national treasure", but unexpectedly learned about the Ancient Weapons—Pluton and Poseidon.

Pluton was out of reach—deep within territory now controlled by Buggy.

But Poseidon… was a mermaid princess.

A being born once every few centuries, capable of commanding Sea Kings.

What puzzled Doflamingo was simple:

If the World Government knew this… why didn't they seize it already?

Meanwhile, deep within Mary Geoise…

The Gorosei knelt before the Void Throne.

A voice echoed from the shadows.

"Doflamingo… he was once of the Donquixote family?"

"Yes… We believed his Celestial Dragon blood would make him obedient. We were mistaken…"

They dared not lift their heads.

"He infiltrated records… murdered archivists… and accessed forbidden history…"

A faint chuckle echoed.

"Typical Donquixote—extremes of madness."

"Then… what should we do about Pluton and Poseidon?"

"Weren't the God's Knights sent to handle Poseidon?"

"…They withdrew. Jack appeared on Fish-Man Island under Clown Buggy's command."

A pause.

"Clown Buggy…"

The voice grew interested.

"He was part of the Roger Pirates. Then he likely knows as well."

"Yes… The poneglyphs recorded Poseidon's existence."

"I see."

A faint gesture dismissed the concern.

"Poseidon is irrelevant for now."

"First… extinguish the light of Alabasta."

"Yes, Imu-sama!"

As the Gorosei retreated, the voice whispered in the darkness:

"Joy Boy… once Uranus awakens… how many can your plan save?"

"The only weapon capable of destroying the world… is the Heavenly King."

A faint light flickered upon the throne.

On the moon…

Enel suddenly paused his work on the Ark Maxim.

"…Strange."

"Captain?" the automaton asked.

"…Continue working. Perhaps I sensed wrong."

Back at Sabaody Archipelago…

Buggy narrowed his eyes as the broadcast flickered briefly.

"That wasn't a Den Den Mushi malfunction…"

"Something interfered externally."

Shakky checked the snail.

"It's perfectly fine."

Buggy leaned back.

Magnetic disturbance? Or something else…

The world had too many unknown forces.

Shakky shifted the topic.

"You know Poseidon is on Fish-Man Island… yet you don't care?"

Buggy smirked.

"Controlling Sea Kings sounds impressive… but against true top-tiers, it's nothing special."

"Unless…"

"…the entire world becomes ocean."

Shakky frowned.

"That's impossible. Even Whitebeard could only create tsunamis."

Buggy chuckled.

"Not impossible."

"Tides are caused by the moon."

"Move it slightly…"

"…and the entire world floods."

Shakky imagined it—and went silent.

"Only Mary Geoise would remain safe…"

"Sky Islands, too," Buggy added. "Fish-Men would survive as well."

"But everyone else?"

He grinned.

"Maybe humanity just lives on ships."

"Sounds interesting, doesn't it?"

Shakky rolled her eyes.

"You're a Devil Fruit user. That would kill you, too."

Buggy waved it off.

"It's just a concept…"
