"What does everyone think of this live broadcast?"
On a scorched black hill, Morgan was questioning his subordinates.
This rare battle between our Emperors must have shocked the world.
"President, the response isn't very good..." A News Coo subordinate gathered some feedback and reported it to Morgans.
"What? Why? This is a war between the emperors of the sea; it might even determine the course of the world."
Morgans didn't understand why this was happening.
"How should I put it... the Four Emperors are just too far removed from the commoners. Many haven't even heard their names and are just watching the broadcast for the spectacle..."
"But as far as spectacle goes, aside from the initial surprise of the Whole Cake Island bombardment, the situation has been completely one-sided, and people are losing interest."
Morgans checked the feedback from various places. Aside from the islands within the original Whitebeard Pirates and Big Mom Pirates' spheres of influence that were very concerned about the broadcast, the member nations of the World Government didn't care much.
However, the World Government and the Marine were very interested in this broadcast and specifically took the signal from him.
In other words, the higher-ups are very concerned about this matter, but more of the lower-class commoners feel it has nothing to do with them and are just watching for fun.
"Actually, everyone misses the last broadcast..." the News Coo whispered. "The commoners don't care about the fate of the Blackbeard Pirates, but if another Celestial Dragon could be killed to liven things up, that's the kind of program everyone loves to see."
"..."
Morgans hadn't expected the commoners' tastes to be like this. "Do we have any intelligence on any stray Celestial Dragons?"
This broadcast was a loss; next time, he'd have to let Clown Buggy make up for the broadcast's impact.
"No, the Celestial Dragons aren't fools. After that incident, they all fled to Holy Land Mary Geoise to hide," the News Coo said.
"Those cowards!" Morgans cursed. "Fine, let's end this broadcast first. We'll deal with the rest later."
"The Blackbeard Pirates are finished..."
At Marine Headquarters, Akainu saw Buggy walking toward Blackbeard with a sword and knew the Blackbeard Pirates would soon become history.
"One pirate force that threw the world into chaos has disappeared, only for an even larger pirate force to emerge. I really don't know if it's a good or bad thing," Kizaru said.
"Buggy has not only taken in the remnants of the Beasts Pirates, the Big Mom Pirates, and the Whitebeard Pirates under his command, but after wiping out the Blackbeard Pirates this time, their territory will likely be occupied by Buggy as well..."
Tsuru drew a large circle on the map. "Given Buggy's relationship with Shanks, the situation we're facing is even more severe than before!"
"Have you contacted Sengoku and Garp? Marine Headquarters needs them to hold the fort," Akainu said in a low voice.
"They're on their way back, but Garp is very unhappy, saying his mission isn't finished yet," Tsuru said.
"Now is not the time for him to be willful. Tell him to hurry back; we're short-handed right now."
Akainu said bluntly, "Even if he's retired, he hasn't taken off the mantle of justice."
"Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, I think with our strength, it's enough to—" Aramaki was about to say something when a finger was already pointed at his heart.
"Young Aramaki, though you're a powerhouse of the younger Marine generation, don't underestimate the old-timers of the previous era..."
Kizaru retracted his finger with a grin. "Your strength still needs more training."
Aramaki's face looked very grim; he hadn't even reacted when Kizaru made his move just now.
"Borsalino, stop messing around and focus on the broadcast," Tsuru said.
"Understood, Vice Admiral Tsuru." Kizaru returned to his lazy demeanor and cast his gaze back to the screen.
"Buggy, I can handle Blackbeard myself. I don't need your help!"
Seeing Buggy approach, Luffy shouted.
"But I don't want to wait any longer. Shanks, don't you have something to do? Let's finish off Blackbeard quickly," Buggy said.
"Then why don't you just go ahead?" Shanks said.
"Let's do it together. Since you've bet the new era on Luffy, at least let him witness the power of the overlords of the old era," Buggy said seriously.
"Let me see your full power, Shanks! Continuing the battle from thirty years ago, let's be the ones to take down that chubby little black guy again."
"Is that what you were thinking? I understand..."
Shanks became serious, and an invisible pressure spread from him, filling the entire Whole Cake Island with black lightning.
The News Coo couldn't withstand the pressure and fell to the ground unconscious.
At the critical moment, Morgans dove and caught the transponder snail, preventing the broadcast from being interrupted.
"I feel a bit uncomfortable. What is this?!" Usopp felt his breathing become somewhat labored.
"This is the Captain's Conqueror's Haki. Its range is enough to cover an entire island. Exaggerated, isn't it, son?"
A hand pressed down on Usopp's head. "Your strength still needs to be enhanced. It looks like I'll have to give you some special training!"
Stimulated by Red Hair's Conqueror's Haki, Hancock's aura surged, and her continuous kicks broke through Catarina Devon's defenses.
"Even if I cannot conquer the world, in terms of beauty, I am forever number one! Die, ugly woman!"
Hancock's final blow shattered Catarina Devon's chest.
"It's rare for the Captain to be this serious; I can't miss this show."
Lucky Roux looked at the battered Vasco Shot. "Brother Jack, can you still charge?"
"It's the Mammoth Flip!" Jack said seriously. "Of course I can. Watch my horns carefully: Tusk Rush!"
The ancient mammoth charged at Vasco once again.
"Changed the name again?" Lucky Roux's hands and feet were covered in Armament Haki. "I'm going to start cooking too."
Seeing Vasco block Jack's tusks with both hands, Lucky Roux instantly flashed in front of Vasco's massive head and kicked him in the chin. "Meat Hook!"
Vasco's enormous body was sent flying by the kick. Lucky Roux's obese frame moved rapidly, blurring into five figures.
"Dismember!"
A series of bone-cracking sounds rang out. By the time Vasco hit the ground, he was completely lifeless.
"Finished." Lucky Roux pulled out a piece of meat on the bone and took a bite. "Let's go, Brother Jack. Let's go watch the show."
Inside Moria's Shadow Barrier, Hawkeye and Shiryu were clashing in a lightless environment.
"Afraid of my Clear-Clear Fruit, so you specially created this environment?" Shiryu said.
"No, Moria set up the barrier specifically because he was afraid you'd run away," Hawkeye said calmly.
"Whether you're invisible or not makes no difference to me."
"Heh, how arrogant." But Shiryu knew Hawkeye was telling the truth.
The world's strongest swordsman, indeed... He lit a cigar, and a red dot appeared in the lightless space, but Shiryu didn't care.
"After I die, help me find a new master for [Raiu]," Shiryu said.
"A bloodthirsty, cursed blade? I actually know someone who would be a suitable master for it," Hawkeye said.
Though he might not necessarily take a liking to this sword.
"Humph! Raiu is very fierce; it can erode a person's thoughts. Don't say I didn't warn you."
Shiryu took a long drag of his cigar.
"It wouldn't dare," Hawkeye asserted.
"Fine, next is the final move." Shiryu struck a pose. "Maybe the final victor will be me."
"Thunder Walk: Blood Rain!"
Both figures charged at the same time. As the sound of a long sword tearing through flesh rang out, one figure fell to the ground.
"I have been waiting for someone who can defeat me, but that person is not you."
Hawkeye picked up [Raiu] from the ground and said, "You can open the barrier now, Moria."
The Shadow Barrier opened, and Hawkeye looked toward the direction of the final battle.
Shanks, how long has it been since you were this serious?
