Chapter 12 - [12]: Linlin’s Training

"Brother, follow Longbread. See where he's headed and report back to me immediately."

"Remember, don't get caught."

Hearing Reno assign him a task, Bro nodded seriously, packed a few essentials, and silently trailed behind.

Linlin, naturally perceptive thanks to her Observation Haki, sensed Reno's actions without effort.

So when Reno returned, she asked him directly,

"Why did you send someone to follow Longbread?"

Reno smiled and sat beside Linlin, his left hand resting lightly on her smooth, soft thigh.

"It's nothing. I just want to see what he's up to," he replied.

"Longbread has followed you for over ten years, and now he suddenly decides to leave. Being cautious doesn't hurt."

Linlin considered his words and nodded.

"Suit yourself."

"Even if he makes a big fuss, so what?"

"Besides, my Reno, any scheme or trick is meaningless in the face of absolute power!"

"Do you understand?"

Reno didn't answer her words directly. Instead, he stood up and reached out to gently rub Linlin's fox ear.

"Of course I understand, my Linlin," he said.

"Then, would you help me enhance my physical abilities?"

Linlin's amber vertical pupils sparkled with a hint of mischief; she knew exactly what he meant.

"Which aspects of your abilities do you want to enhance?"

"Please help me train my offensive speed and strength, as well as defensive hardness and endurance."

"Ha! Very well!"

"Then I'll make sure you get a proper training session!"

Reno noticed something in her tone, a subtle bite behind the word 'well.' Before he could react, Linlin scooped him up effortlessly.

With a flick of her nine tails, she soared across the hall, heading straight for her pirate ship.

The pirates in the hall erupted into cheers and whistles.

"Ha ha ha! Reno really is Charlotte Linlin's husband!"

"Looks like Charlotte Linlin is in for two battles today!"

"Ze hahahaha!"

Rocks watched the two fly off and shook his head.

"They're definitely not hiding anything from each other."

Shiki, cigar in mouth, laughed heartily.

"Jiehahahaha! When it comes to handling the strong, Reno is a true man!"

"Since they're gone, I might as well relax a bit myself!"

Newgate, unlike Gold Lion, didn't go around looking for women. Instead, he conversed with Rocks.

"Glurglurglur!"

"Captain, ignore them and let's keep drinking!"

"By the way, Rocks, have you decided which Devil Fruit you want next?"

"Of course, I've already decided…"

The feast in the square continued, but Reno and Linlin had already returned to her pirate ship.

The captain's quarters door was kicked open.

Bam!

Linlin tossed Reno onto the bed and turned to close the door.

Just as Reno opened his mouth to speak, Linlin faced him, a cold smile playing on her lips. He felt a chill run down his spine.

Reno had a sense of foreboding.

"My Reno, you seemed to enjoy yourself at the feast, didn't you?"

"Of course, why wouldn't I be happy?"

Reno paused, unaware that Linlin's words weren't referring to the same thing he meant.

Then her nine tails coiled around him.

"I'm talking about your fists! You seemed to enjoy playing with them earlier!"

Reno immediately understood and hurried to explain.

"Ah?! You didn't stop me afterward, so I assumed you liked it."

"Liked it? This lady certainly did!"

After saying that, Linlin delivered a punch directly to Reno's head.

Bang!

Reno felt a wave of dizziness, stars appearing before his eyes.

Hiss!

This woman hits hard!

"I'll teach you how to use your fists!"

Bang!

"I'll show you how to make them big, and how to make them small!"

Bang!

…inside the captain's quarters.

By this point, Reno had completely given up resisting. Even as a succubus with extraordinary regeneration, a large bump now rose on his head.

Linlin's nine tails still coiled around him, leaving only his lower body exposed, while she controlled the speed of her attacks.

She even deliberately slowed her movements.

Whenever Reno intentionally tried to enlarge his fists, she would tease him using her tails.

Only when he returned to normal size would she allow full contact.

Each time Linlin detected via Observation Haki that Reno was about to strike, she would pull him away with her tails, press her toes against him, forcing him to calm down, and repeat the cycle.

This back-and-forth continued through the entire night.

"Do you know what mistake you made, my Reno?"

"Of course I know, my Linlin," he replied weakly.

"Good. Then I'll reward you once."

Finally, at dawn, Reno completed an intimate exercise, gaining 35 attribute points.

After this ordeal, Reno learned an important lesson: if he couldn't overpower Linlin, he should never cross her limits again.

Even as a succubus, the tension was unbearable.

Moreover, he had wasted precious time for earning points…

"My Linlin, when I become stronger than you, I'll make you feel today's lesson too!"

At that moment, at a port on Eight Isles Island…

Longbread stood on a dilapidated small ship, striking a pose that seemed eternal, like the Marines of the New World.

Bro watched him from the shadows, growing increasingly anxious and uneasy.

He had no idea which direction Longbread's pose indicated.

If he sailed rashly after him, he would surely be noticed.

Even without acting rashly, there was nowhere to hide in the open sea.

But as Bro worried, the Longbread had already set sail.

"Damn it, let's go!"

Bro carried nothing except a shock bug, three days' worth of food, thousands of berries, and a single plank.

He jumped into the sea and followed Longbread closely.

The next day, morning light streamed through the cabin window. Reno opened his eyes; Linlin still slept peacefully beside him.

Her long, delicate eyebrows and refined profile were mesmerizing.

Recalling the previous night, Reno felt a twinge of irritation.

Fortunately, he had completed one intimate exercise, so he hadn't entirely wasted his effort.

Reno stretched, looking at Linlin's porcelain skin and breathtaking face. His lower body gained three additional points.

Yet he had no intention of taking advantage of her while she was vulnerable.

After all, contact without her reaction was far worse than mutual interaction.

This woman was simply too enchanting…

"Mm…"

Before Reno could move, Linlin flipped over, wrapping him entirely with her nine tails.

He struggled a few times, realizing he couldn't break free, and reluctantly lay back to rest.

Soon, Rocks' loud, commanding voice echoed from outside.

"All hands, assemble! Prepare to set sail!"

Linlin's amber eyes snapped open, gleaming with excitement.

"Rested enough, time to go!"

She retracted her tails and leaped from the bed.

Reno was tossed to the edge, nearly falling off.

"My Linlin, could you be a little gentler?"

Linlin laughed while getting dressed.

"Gentle?"

"This lady doesn't do gentle!"
