With free on-site enforcement courtesy of Fubuki, Jordan Evans's daily life suddenly became much more relaxed.
Recently, Bang, the martial artist who'd been traveling to other cities engaging in hero activities, returned to his dojo in the suburbs.
He'd visited many places and seen all sorts of things. Unfortunately, he still hadn't found a disciple he liked.
Perhaps it was because he'd seen the best. All other withered branches and fallen leaves seemed utterly uninteresting.
Upon learning of Bang's return, Jordan called on Saitama, whose hair loss had become increasingly noticeable recently. The original Z-City hot pot team reunited. This time they fought again at Bang's dojo. The three-way battle became even more intense.
The old man raised an eyebrow at Saitama's progress. It felt like only a month had passed, but the kid was already holding his own against Jordan when fighting over meat. At one point, he wasn't at a disadvantage.
What kind of insane growth rate is this?!
Bang was astonished by how quickly Saitama's strength had increased. Meanwhile, he continued staring at Jordan with a death glare.
This left the latter completely baffled. Why stare at me instead of eating the tender, juicy veal steak?
Looking back at the bunch of misshapen, deformed fruits in his own vegetable garden, Bang wanted nothing more than to sigh to the heavens.
You've been secretly learning the Flowing Water technique for so long, and you haven't improved at all!
What a waste of such extraordinary martial arts talent...
To this, Jordan's skin was as thick as a city wall. He showed no shame whatsoever.
Martial arts weren't the mainstay of his arsenal. More of an added bonus than a necessity.
Mastering a martial art increased understanding of that enemy type. Later on, when encountering foes, instead of suffering a beating due to lack of knowledge like Tanktop Master, Jordan relied on his various superpowers in direct combat.
In a one-sided game, who would bother showing off skills?
In the midst of peaceful daily routine, dozens of accumulated gacha pulls were eventually exhausted.
With sufficient quantity to support it, in addition to basic attribute cards of various levels, there were quite a few other outputs.

Two R-cards, two SR-cards.
The "Veteran Driver" focused on increasing style factor. Superpowers as a family hero provided ridiculously high boosts to vehicles.
After drawing this amazing card, Jordan immediately reported to the department, requesting the Special Affairs Section be equipped with a modified GTR police car to improve emergency response mobility.
Anzu criticized him, saying this was blatant abuse of power for personal gain.
Next was the max-level "Steel Bones," a passive skill very compatible with Jordan's true form. After using it, his already inhuman physique gained a metallic sheen.
"Instant Teleportation" was a Pokémon move useful for both battle and escape. Since mastering this move, Jordan as supervisor had never been absent from any battle where Fubuki was present.
The last SR-card was somewhat special. A character card for Black Widow, one of Marvel's superheroes. It had good strategic value and versatility, but unfortunately, its strength was too low.
For Jordan, whose strength and style had already taken shape, the bonus wasn't as good as the SR "Kennen" at all. Equipping it was out of the question.
However, just because Jordan couldn't use it didn't mean others couldn't.
Yes. Fantasy cards of the character card type weren't limited to being loaded onto the original character. They could be given to others, even non-human beings, according to Jordan's will.
Just like pay-to-win skins in MOBA games. Plug-and-play. But if the user had any doubts, the character card and its abilities could be recalled with a single thought.
Jordan immediately thought of a suitable candidate.
What could be better than a capable deputy?
A more capable deputy.
As deputy head of the Special Affairs Section, Anzu's looks were certainly striking. But her combat abilities...
In regular training sessions, she barely managed to pass. If she could protect herself in an emergency, that was already fortunate.
This was also the current situation for the Special Affairs Section, and even for all civilian police officers in Z-City.
Jordan couldn't always keep an eye on his subordinates. Considering the danger level of Z-City during the Monster Association era, he felt it necessary to improve officer quality. Even if they weren't major assets, they should at least protect themselves in sudden disasters.
Let's start with Anzu.
Having made up his mind, Jordan decided on the use of the Black Widow character card.
Unfortunately, most cards he collected were single ability cards. Currently, the only way to obtain character cards was through completely random draws. Couldn't be rushed.
In fact, monster cards were also a type of character card. But Jordan would never use this kind of power, full of uncertainties and almost clearly labeled as a chaotic evil faction, on ordinary humans.
If someone were influenced by monster power and mutated into a real monster, that would be a huge problem.
