"Then, allow this humble one, on behalf of the Sky-Faring Commission, to welcome you, our benefactors, to the Central Starskiff Haven."

Xingcha Sea, Xianzhou Luofu.

Tingyun stopped and turned to Kenta and the others. After regrouping, she had inquired about their identities, noting the lack of docking records—a breach of protocol that suggested the Express shouldn't have been there. This matched the signal interference Himeko had reported. Welt speculated an outside force was meddling, prompting Tingyun to lead them toward the Helm Master of the Sky-Faring Commission.

"See it? The tallest building in the city—that's the headquarters of the Sky-Faring Commission, the Palace of Astrum. Let's not dally."

The Foxian beauty once again moved with decisive grace, though Kenta suspected she was mostly eager to hand this "illegal entry" headache to her boss. However, Welt raised a hand, stopping the group.

"To meet the high officials of the Six Chariots, one must be prepared," Welt said, adjusting his glasses with the vigilance of a seasoned veteran. "Foxian Miss, rest assured we will not wander. Please announce our arrival first; we will wait at the entrance shortly."

Tingyun's expression faltered, her fluffy tail drooping slightly in disappointment. "Alright... then this humble one will take her leave for now."

As she walked away, Kenta stared intently at the retreating tail. "Oh, my goodness... look at that fur. I swear, it looks softer than Grandma Laura's freshly baked apple pie."

"Look at that luster! If I could just touch it once, I'd die happy..." He was lost in his internal rating system for Foxian fluffiness, completely unaware of the pink-and-blue eyes boring into the side of his head.

"!!!"

Kenta's body jerked violently. A pair of small, surprisingly strong hands snatched the soft flesh at his waist and twisted it a full 360 degrees.

"Stop staring, you stinky Kenta! She's already gone!" March 7th hissed, her teeth gritted as she applied maximum torque.

Kenta chuckled awkwardly. It wasn't his fault; humans are naturally curious about things they've never seen—especially when those things are five feet of premium floof.

"Wait... where's Stelle?" Kenta asked, realized a certain gray-haired presence was missing.

March and Welt looked around. Then, they saw her. Or rather, they saw the lower half of her. The upper half of the "Galaxy Raccoon" was currently wedged deep inside a nearby trash can, her legs kicking wildly in the air.

"Ahhh! Why is it dark?! Did someone fast-forward time?!" Her muffled voice echoed from the metal bin.

The trio stood in a silent line: "..."

"So, we absolutely have to rummage through every bin on this ship, don't we?" Kenta sighed, walking over to haul Stelle out by her waist.

When she emerged, her face was smudged with dust. She grabbed Kenta's hand immediately. "Kenta! I'm telling you, the moment I reached the bottom, the world went black! I suspect this trash can is a portal to a dark dimension!"

Kenta sighed, raising his hand to cup her cheeks and wipe away the grime. Stelle cooperatively leaned into his touch, closing one eye and pouting her face while he cleaned her up. "Kenta that tickles"

Kenta playfully tapped her head. "Read fewer novels, Raccoon."

In truth, Kenta had felt a strange sense of closeness to Stelle since they first met. As time passed, the feeling only grew. He suspected they shared a history, but since both were amnesiacs, it was a closed book. His act of wiping her face felt like a practiced, ancient habit—something he had done a thousand times before.

March 7th pouted nearby but didn't intervene, choosing instead to stare pointedly at a nearby wall.

After the "Trash Can Incident," the group forged ahead toward the Palace of Astrum. However, two Cloud Knights blocked the main intersection.

"No passage. We are currently clearing a hazardous area under patrol orders."

Kenta felt a dormant gamer memory twitch. "Does this mean the area ahead is 'locked' for now?"

The Knight blinked. "If you mean the road is closed until the situation stabilizes, then yes."

Taking a detour, they finally reached the palace entrance where Tingyun was waiting. She beamed, clearly thrilled to be rid of them. "Benefactors! You're just in time. I've reported your situation. Please, go inside—I'll be staying out here~"

"Cunning! The prettier they are, the more they dodge work!" Stelle complained.

Inside the Palace of Astrum, the air was formal and cold.

"Report the lost data to Jing Yuan, then summon the Divination Commission. This mess is too big for them to sit out..."

A female Foxian was briskly issuing orders. She had waist-length, gradient blue hair and stern purple eyes. Her Xianzhou-style attire featured a cutout at the waist and exposed shoulders, blending traditional beauty with the sharp authority of a high-ranking official. Her blue ears and tail were more slender than Tingyun's, radiating the charm of a mature woman in command.

This was the Helm Master of the Sky-Faring Commission—Yukong.

Stelle's eyes widened as she scanned the woman. She leaned over to Kenta and whispered, "Hmm... looks like another 'mom-level' one."

Kenta: "..." "You are a disgrace to the Trailblaze."
