"Ah?"- The girl continues smiling.
Miyuki stays frozen on the spot, her brain flooding with emotions and questions.
The girl gets closer, with a confused face. She didn't look human.. neither any of the speecies. She had four scarlet coloured eyes in a mocking gaze, and her smile was disturbingly weird.
Then, as Miyuki blinked, the girl's face completely changed- She now had a gentle face, with only two ocean coloured eyes. The blood was completely gone, as if her face morthed around it.
"Are you okay, Miss?.."- She asked, gently.
Miyuki comes back to her senses, but it was too late. Her mark was spreading fast. Something in that girl wasn't right. Paragons weren't supposed to become insane this fast.
"You bitch!! What did you do to my sister!?"- Miyuki lunged forward, but the girl caught her in time, hugging her so she couldn't move.
"Miss, calm down!! I was about to call the cops-"
"Shut up!! I saw the blood!!!"- Miyuki screamed, her mark quickly spreading like wildfire and her mind getting fuzzy.
Rumika arrives at the scene some time later, her eyes widening. Kaoru, dead in the alley, and Miyuki, insane and trying to attack a girl.
"Miss!! Do you know her?"- The black haired girl looks at Rumika, desperate.
"Yes... yes, what happened here?"
"I-.. I was about to call the cops... Since i saw the corpse here.... But this girl must've been one of her dear ones... and she started turning insane.."
"Shit...."- Rumika curses, kneeling down next to Miyuki- "Miyuki, I'm here, can you listen to me?"
"Don't trust this bitch!!! I saw it!!! She- She killed Kaoru!!!! She killed my sister!!!! The blood on her face-"
"Miyuki, her face is clean... Calm down okay? Take a deep-"
"Shut up you too!!! Stop trusting her!!! Kaoru is dead!!!!"
Rumika frowns. Well, this wasn't going well.
She sighs, turning to the girl.
"Hold her thight please."
"Mn.."
As the girl complied, Rumika ripped part of her shirt off and started to tie Miyuki up. It was safety measures and protocol against insane paragons: Tying them up was the first step, so they couldn't attack anyone.
"Rumika!!! Rumika you fucker!!!!! Untie me!!! I'm gonna kill this bitch!!!"
Yet, Rumika ignored her, frowning. She muttered a low "Sorry, Miyuki." and got up.
"thank you.. uh.."
"Sumi. Oniyama Sumi." - The girl nodded - "Its sad knowing i got misunderstood..."
Rumika's gaze turns soft.
"I get you, don't worry. I'll bring her to my house, please stay here with the corpse while the cops arrive, I'll come back later, after giving her something to knock her out."
"Mn. Thank you."
Rumika nodded, turning away while dragging Miyuki.
When they left, Sumi smiled... weirdly. The same twisted smile she gave Miyuki.
"Now, now, where as i?"
She turns back to the corpse, and her body starts twisting disgustingly.
