The crowd has calmed down, and i finally leave the café. I couldn't stand another minute hearing that lady playing matchmaker!!
As i approach the scene, a cop has already interviened, separating the two Sirens and the human. The lady told me one of them was actually protecting the Human.. but i doubt that. I bet they were fighting for food- NO! Stop these racist thoughts, Ikeda Rumika!!
Upon closer inspection, i find out one of the males is none other than the one i bumped into yesterday. Oh gosh, what an embarassment... Thinking on the good side, this could be a chance to say sorry for running away.
Before i could do anything, the male notices me and starts approaching.
"Hey!! You're the human from yesterday, right?? The airhead one?"
"Yes, i suppose." - i frown. Airhead?? Who does he think he is?? he doesen't even know me that well to call me names!! - "I'm sorry for bumping into you and that other woman then running away."
"Don't worry. That's in the past. And i bet my sister didn't mind too." - He smiles
Oh but i bet she did, from the way she answered me..
I stand there, awkwardly, not knowing what to say next.
"Are you just gonna stand there and not say anything?? Not even getting to know me? The great Siren hero who just protected a Human??"
I almost laught. This guys really was so dramatic and extroverted that it was annoying.
"Ah, i'm Ikeda Rumika."
"Takahashi Takeshi!! Nice to meet you~"
Now that i look at him, his face looked pretty beaten up. But it was suprisingly that even with a beaten up face, his looks were still top level...
"How many punches did that guy throw at you?"
"Is it that noticeable?? It wasn't much, don't worry. You should be worried about him tho." - He says with a grin, pointing behind him, where a cop was carrying the guy, with a nosebleed and an almost irrecognizable face.
He didn't look like it, but this guy was pretty strong... Remember me to not make him mad in the future.
"..You probably exagerated..."
"nah, he was asking for it."
"You should probably get patched up..." - I sigh
"Wow, how caring!! Does that mean i get to go to your house??"
"What?? Of course not, we just met."
"I thought we were friends!!!
I give him an annoyed look. Was this guy even serious?...
