Chapter 17 - Chapter 17 Taiyi Arrives and Has Already Slaughtered Through

  Crimson?

Looking at the alluring figure on the screen, Link couldn't help but recall the silhouette standing atop Silver Mountain.

Although he couldn't be sure if the person on the screen was Crimson, since the two had never met in reality, such obvious features left him with no other answer.

But Little Red Riding Hood, with Pikachu and Charizard as her Pokémon, looked only eleven or twelve years old—Crimson, Green, and Leaf during their Fire/Leaf era were all eleven.

How long had it been since they left? And Pikachu already knew "Extreme Speed"?

Link preferred that this was just a misjudgment, and the move Pikachu displayed on the screen was simply an enhanced version of "Quick Attack."

Otherwise, the gap between him and Crimson was truly despairing.

"Hey, whatever, I'll just go to the club tomorrow and ask about the origin of the TM."

  "Fennekin."

Although she didn't know why the trainer said this, the Fennekin nodded in agreement; it also quite liked the people and Pokémon at the club.

"I think you're more reluctant to part with those snacks. I'll try making some tomorrow so we can take them on our trip."

  "Fennekin!"

Link said, handing the remote to Fennekin to let it rest and relax.

As for himself…he had a simulator, wasn't that the perfect tool to bridge the gap between trainers?

Everything was as usual. No matter how many people were ahead of him, Link just needed to be himself.

Link opened the simulator interface in his mind. After an afternoon of idling, his Pitt had reached a little over two thousand.

He spent another 1,000 points on Intelligence, and he felt his thoughts were much clearer.

With the [Learning Crystal] buff, his Intelligence had reached 14 (12+2), surpassing most people in logic and calculation.

Seeing that his Intelligence points had also reached 10,000, Link pondered, hesitating whether to focus on one attribute or distribute them evenly.

He looked at the system's description of the six attributes:

[Strength]: Basic physical strength and agility.]

[Agility]: Physical flexibility, reflexes, balance, and stability.]

  [Constitution]: Health, stamina, and vitality.]

[Intelligence]: Learning, mental acuity, information recall, and analytical ability.]

[Perception]: Willpower, judgment, alertness, intuition, and insight.]

[Charisma]: Personal charisma, attractiveness, leadership, and physical appearance.]

If it were the old Link, he would have immediately maxed out Charisma.

But now he had to consider it from a trainer's perspective.

Perception and Intelligence would undoubtedly be the main attributes to focus on for the long term. As for Strength, Agility, and Constitution, he was already far behind the people of this world; investing points in them would only help him catch up for a long time.

As for Charisma, it seemed to emphasize "personal charisma" rather than "appearance."

Personal charisma was important, but could it really be improved by adding points?

  Link had serious doubts.

In short, prioritize increasing Perception, Intelligence, and Constitution. Add any remaining points to these stats. Don't bother increasing Strength and Agility; since you've come to this world, you must take good care of your health and try to live another twenty or thirty years.

Having determined his strategy, Link immediately added the last 1,000 points to his physique.

He patiently examined his body, but nothing seemed to have changed. He didn't feel any unusual activity, nor did he feel hunger, nor did he directly sense any change in his vitality.

It was as if he hadn't added any points at all…

He pondered for a moment, thinking that it was probably because the changes were not obvious, and that physical attributes tended to have a more subtle, gradual effect.

  In any case…

  Butterfly, activate!

  [Restart]

  —Omitted

[Everyone knew they had to go and save Aoi-senpai immediately.]

[But you know that going there under these circumstances is pointless. Fighting a mature-stage monster in its growth stage is too difficult, and going there would only result in being annihilated by the four spider monsters.]

["Just in case, let's first understand the abilities and strengths of the Digimon and the others. This will also help us utilize their abilities in the battle against the spider monsters."]

[You suggested this, and were immediately ridiculed by Ryo-senpai. Minoru retorted on your behalf, and Takuma stopped the two from arguing.] [

Since it's a rescue mission, even the desperate Labramon had no choice but to agree to a pre-battle discussion.]

[Agumon is an all-rounder, skilled in both melee and ranged combat. Its "Small Flame" is reliable in both power and range, and it's weak to water but resistant to wind and fire.]

[You can't help but think, if Taichi were here, he would have already wiped them out.]

[Falcomon has excellent mobility, and its special move "Flash Strike" is even more effective than Agumon's, but it only excels in melee combat and is weak to fire but resistant to wind.]

[Kunemon... has decent attack power, but it's short-armed and short-legged, unable to reach people, and can't speak. Its best move, "Electric Thread," has a range of less than five meters, but its power is enough to knock someone unconscious. It's weak to fire but resistant to wind and earth.]

[Labramon is also well-rounded in offense and defense. Its special move "Healing Wine" can provide ranged healing, while "Patrol Bark" inflicts ranged damage. It's weak to darkness but resistant to earth and light.]

[As for Renamon, it has good mobility, and its "Fox Strike" and "Fox Leaf Wedge" are effective at both close and long range. Its resistances are excellent, but its defense is rather unpredictable.]

[After a brief discussion, you finally understand everyone's strengths and specialties, and can't help but complain about how Labramon recklessly charged forward last week and ended up getting killed. You have a ranged attack, after all.]

[Based on the characteristics of the Digimon, you devise a new tactic.]

[The group "again" headed to the gymnasium, only to find themselves surrounded by three Dokugumon and one Gigantamax Dokugumon.]

[This time, the highly mobile Renamon held off the leader Dokugumon, while Falconmon penetrated deep into the enemy ranks, pulling away two Dokugumon. Their goal wasn't to gain merit, but to buy time for their teammates.]

[Agumon, as the vanguard, fought off the Dokugumon on the edge. Although it was badly beaten, Labramon provided healing, preventing it from dying instantly.]

[Taking advantage of this opportunity, Kunemon secretly flanked from a corner, spitting out "Electric Threads" from Dokugumon's back, paralyzing it.]

[Taking advantage of the opportunity created by their teammates, Agumon and Labramon, both Vaccine-type, pressed their advantage, unleashing their ultimate moves to obliterate Dokugumon.]

Link finally breathed a sigh of relief; as long as they played steadily, they could win.

[But before they could celebrate for long, Falconmon, responsible for restraining the two Dokugumon, ran out of stamina and was caught in a web by one of them, then surrounded and killed by "Piercing Needle."]

[After Falcomon's death, Minoru Hinata also vanished in a flash.]

[The group, gripped by fear, immediately exposed their weaknesses, and Kunemon, Labramon, and Renamon were killed one after another.]

[In despair, Takuma unleashed his will to survive, and Agumon evolved into Greymon, but you couldn't see if he could win.]

  [Simulation ended.]

  Link: "?"

Are we alive and affecting your output?
