Philip woke up seeing rain pattering on his room window, the hook of a memory gripped his chest.
That same night she vanished, when the rain was falling.
Now he's getting a mysterious text message: " meet me at the club tonight".
He's 28, trying to avoid love. But his past's has ways of catching him.
He paused. Using his fingers covering his phone screen. Who was this?"
The Text was with no number on it, just words that reminded him - a place they did last been together.
with anger. Philip pushed off the bed.
Rain - soaked streets, but he still went out. To find out who was playing games with him.
He grabbed his car key, including his house key's.
The past whispering in his ear's, like a storm outside.
He stepped out into the car, key jamming into his pocket.

A shadow waited. The shadow did not move as Philip approached.
The rain dropped on his jacket. Then a very low voice he recognized changed: "so you did came".
Philip heart raised, gut so tightened. That Voice... " Ela?" He said, the whisper lost in the rain.
The shadow moved and stepped forward.
"Six years, Philip", Ela said. her voice slicing through the rain. "I've been waiting".
Her eyes locked on his- pain, anger, heartbroken.
Philip's jaw clenched a little. " I want you for one last time".
Philip frozed. "No deals" he said.
Ela raised a hand, showing a small key. " Not a deal. Is a dept. You promised me".
"I promised you nothing", Philip snapped, stepping his foot backwards.
Ela's smile widened- the key glitched like a Pixel, showing something off.
Philip frozed again. with anger but could not do anything.
Ela smiled. The rain falled so heavy at that moment.
"Six years, after all that happened between us you never came back. Philip", Ela said. her voice like a roar of a lion.
She was filled with, pain and heartbroken.she never expected Philip to betray her love. For him.
Philip was very scard. and stepped back, he did not know that his past will hit him. Just like a course.
"no. I tried, I tried searching and waiting. for me to ask you forgiveness. but I never saw you again. Please am sorry. Philip said".
Esther widened- her eyes. as sharp to strike at him, what he had stolen from her.
Philip was so furious, then knelt down, folding his hands pleading for mercy.
She started at him for a while. Then turned her back disappearing.
Philip's heart was raised a bit. For a while, he could not decide whether to tell his wife everything that had happened.
he entered his car. used the key to start the car, but it was like a strange gravity took place. at that moment.
he came out from his car, trying to bring out his phone from his pocket.
The phone ringed so fast, that made him to jump up. In a scared way. Wondering if it was Ela.
A familiar voice, came out from the phone. it was his wife, that made him to be happy.
The wife was saying. Something on the phone, but he could not hear what she was saying.
Immediately the phone falled out from his hands. he tried picking it up. but it was too late, the phone had died.
Philip said", I remember changing this phone. So how come's . Is already died.
Immediately something ekcode on his mind.
he wondered if it could be from Ela, he was so scard of loosing his wife and family.
he decided to enter his car again. he used that same key to start the car. The car moved so fast that he could not control it anymore.
he was very scard of loosing his life, he started praying in his mind. but his car hitted a big try.
He finds his self in the hospital with his wife sitting down. next to him.
immediately the wife had seen him wake up, she called for the doctor's attention.
"Doctor. Doctor. I think he has waken up". She said.
The doctor ranned some tests on him. For a while and stated that he his loosing his memory.
Philip knew that Ela was behind it. So he tried conveniencing his wife that he was fine.
But the wife was so scard, but could not understand what was going on, because to her. he looks good.
Philip said", I don't understand what this talking his saying. but I know am fine. and this is all Ela's manipulations.
The wife was surprised. She immediately stopped him from calling Ela's name.
She asked him how he knew Ela, but he ended up changing the topic. because he was very scard of loosing her.
He smiled and pretend not to hear what she was saying.
She asked him. How he ended up at the hospital, but no response. he was just quiet. She got very angry.
He noticed of how her behavior was. and doubted it was all Ela's doing.
his wife- Stella. asked in a very sad situation. "Who is Ela to you?"
he whispered some strange things.that she could not hear, but she knew he was hiding something from her.
"you said you love me but you hide things from me why?"Stella asked.
He was surprised of how she spoke to him. because she had never spoken to him like that before.
Immediately he saw Ela standing next to Stella his wife, he was afraid and he started pointing at Stella his wife.
"Look she's in your back. He said with frightened.
Stella was scared. She jumped into the hospital bed and said; "who's at my back?"Philip.
Philip whispered in a frightened way. "It's her. he said.
Stella could not handle the situation,so she called the doctor again.
"Doctor. "Doctor! Stella shouted.
Philip knew Ela was taking her revenge indeed.
