Ainz Ooal Gown.
Among the Six Great Gods, this guild's name was practically legendary.
If Surshana had to describe it, he would say it was a guild with an almost mythical aura.
The story of its founding was something many heteromorphic players loved to talk about.
Back when [YGGDRASIL] first launched, some powerful classes required players to PK and defeat a certain number of heteromorphic races before they could unlock them. Because of this, hunting heteromorphic players became extremely popular for a time.
With heteromorphic players constantly being targeted in PK battles, most of them retreated to the three worlds where they had the greatest advantage.
They stayed inside [Niflheim], [Helheim], and [Muspelheim], refusing to travel to other worlds.
After all, even a single world was vast enough to keep players busy without ever leaving it.
This only reinforced the situation further.
However, some players clearly refused to accept things like that.
Among them, one particular team stood out.
It was led by Touch Me, one of the Nine World Champions at the time and the World Champion of Helheim, with the runner-up Naohara acting as his main support.
They refused to play the game in such a narrow-minded way. Instead, they boldly ventured into other worlds and began fighting against humanoid players.
Even after countless PK battles.
Even after being killed many times.
Even though many players obtained powerful classes thanks to their seemingly suicidal behavior.
Even though many heteromorphic players thought what they were doing was pointless.
They still refused to give up.
They called themselves "The goal of ten people," essentially meaning a suicide squad of ten.
Perhaps it was that spirit that moved some heteromorphic players.
Or perhaps it was because they constantly rescued heteromorphic players who were being hunted.
In any case, their group gradually grew larger, eventually reaching as many as twenty-eight members.
At that point, their leader Touch Me decided to dissolve the original team and formally establish a guild.
Soon after, during one of the guild's earliest activities, all members worked together and successfully conquered the Great Tomb of Nazarick in a single attempt, claiming it as their guild base.
Thus, the heteromorphic guild [Ainz Ooal Gown] was officially born.
"The strongest heteromorphic guild, huh?"
"A legendary name within the game. I never expected we would meet them like this."
"Naohara… no wonder that name sounded strangely familiar."
The Catastrophe Dragon Lord.
The Walking Catastrophe.
The guy who self-destructs at the slightest disagreement.
The ultimate grinder.
The madman who stayed online twenty hours a day.
Compared to those titles, the name itself left far less of an impression.
"So, are we making a move?"
"Do we kill the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord, or use that power… and erase Ainz Ooal Gown entirely?"
A faint voice echoed inside his mind.
Surshana snapped out of his thoughts, looked at his five companions, and slowly shook his head.
"It's possible, but the cost would be too high."
"It's not worth it, and there's no need."
Their identity was troublesome and made him wary.
But for now, they were allies.
At least on the surface, so there was no reason to escalate things to open hostility.
"A self-destruction on the level of a great catastrophe, and with resurrection items it could probably be used five times in a row. That kind of power… honestly terrifying."
The phantom of the Wind God rested his chin on his hand and couldn't help sighing in admiration.
If something like that were unleashed, it could probably wipe out a regional boss instantly. Even severely injuring a fragile world boss would not be difficult.
"Well, he is a famous grinder. He farmed so hard that his stats surpassed even those of a World Champion. Even the developers didn't know what to say about it."
Surshana shrugged, sounding slightly amused.
The balance in the later stages of the game had indeed collapsed, but that was mainly because of cash items and World-Class Items.
When it came purely to player stats, things were actually still fairly normal.
"Since we're not planning to take action, then let's leave things as they are for now."
"But we should still deal with the matter of the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord. It wouldn't be good if our friends misunderstood. I'd rather not get blown into the sky~"
The Wind God gave a reminder.
He had no desire to fight either. If the alliance could be maintained, that would be best.
He was already sick of this other world that didn't even have cats.
(PS: Cats do not exist in the New World.)
It was rare to meet a fellow countryman who loved cats as much as he did. He still wanted to chat more with the other party.
"Mm. There's really no need to test them anymore."
"With the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord's strength, even if he gathered a group of True Dragon Lords, it would still be questionable whether they could even break through the entrance of that guild's base."
Back during the YGGDRASIL era, Ainz Ooal Gown had once been attacked by a force of 1,500 players and mercenaries.
Even so, they failed to capture the guild base and were completely wiped out instead.
The impact of that battle had been enormous.
With strength like that, what exactly did the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord plan to use to fight them?
"Rufus."
Surshana turned his head.
At the quiet call, a small creature jumped out.
"Meow~"
A nimble and adorable vampire kitten leapt onto Surshana's lap and let out a soft cry.
"Alright, stop fooling around."
"Take this scroll to the Sorcerer Kingdom."
Surshana sounded a little helpless, but his tone was full of affection. His skeletal hand gently patted the kitten before he took out a scroll.
Inside it was the intelligence he had just compiled regarding the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord.
Everything was recorded in detail, from the dragon's attempt to steal the Theocracy's World-Class Item, to how he was discovered, and how he later tried to persuade Surshana to join forces against the Sorcerer Kingdom.
In the eyes of the Six Great Gods, the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord's only remaining value now was to help push the Sorcerer Kingdom and the Theocracy toward an alliance.
"Meow~ Meow~"
After receiving his master's command, Rufus nodded.
Then with a small leap, he disappeared into the shadows.
"Well then, who wants to help me deal with paperwork next?"
After watching him leave, Surshana turned to his companions, about to ask if anyone wanted to stay and work overtime with him.
But the moment he finished speaking, he saw that the room was already empty.
Under the dim light, a lone skeleton stood there, completely stunned.
