Kurenai Yuhi looked at Sora and said seriously.
"I want to ask you for some advice regarding genjutsu, and of course I will also share my own insights on genjutsu with you."
She had clearly witnessed Sora breaking Uchiha Itachi's dōjutsu, while her own genjutsu had been reflected by the Sharingan.
As someone who had always taken pride in her genjutsu, this was something she could not easily accept.
However, a loss was still a loss, and she was not someone who refused to admit defeat.
Since she had lost, she naturally wanted to find a way to improve.
Therefore, she set aside her pride as a jonin and humbly asked Sora for guidance.
Sora thought for a moment before nodding and asking, "Alright, where to?"
Although he had cracked Uchiha Itachi's dōjutsu, his actual understanding of genjutsu was inferior to Kurenai Yuhi's.
He had relied on his unique Blood Qi Burst to break Tsukuyomi, but that did not mean his genjutsu ability was superior to either Uchiha Itachi or Kurenai Yuhi.
After all, Kurenai Yuhi was a jonin who specialized in genjutsu.
Her understanding was certainly beyond his current level.
However, even if his genjutsu skills were not as refined as hers, he could still provide useful advice.
After all, he had been personally trained by Tsunade, and many of the theories he had learned would be extremely valuable to Kurenai Yuhi.
In fact, Konaha was very strict regarding ninja techniques within the village. Without a strong teacher, most people could only rely on themselves.
Especially after the Third Hokage took power and Danzo rose to influence, it was obvious that Konaha had been declining with each generation.
During the era of the First Hokage and Second Hokage, many powerful ninja had been cultivated.
But now, after the death of the Third Hokage, Konaha did not even possess a single true kage-level expert.
One of the main reasons was the strict control over techniques.
Many jonin had to develop their own abilities or obtain them by chance, rather than receiving them from the village. Kurenai Yuhi was no exception.
As a woman who had reached the rank of jonin without a powerful teacher, her talent was undeniable.
If she had been taught by one of the Sannin like Sora and Naruto,
she might not necessarily have become a kage-level expert, but she would certainly be many times stronger than she was now,
and Uchiha Itachi would never have been able to reflect her genjutsu so easily.
Kurenai Yuhi hesitated for a moment before saying, "To my house, but don't misunderstand, it's simply quiet there and no one will be spying."
The moment she finished speaking, her face turned slightly red. Realizing her words could sound ambiguous, she quickly added the explanation.
Sora simply nodded and said, "Let's go."
He did not think much about it. After all, they truly needed a quiet and safe place.
These were personal techniques and insights, not something that should be casually overheard by Anbu or anyone else.
When they arrived at Kurenai Yuhi's home, Sora immediately noticed how clean and organized it was.
Everything was neat and orderly, perfectly reflecting her personality and lifestyle.
Sora looked at her and said bluntly, "You must feel very unwilling to accept that your genjutsu was reflected by Uchiha Itachi's Sharingan."
His straightforward words gave Kurenai Yuhi no room to hide her feelings.
Anyone else speaking to a beautiful woman like Kurenai Yuhi would likely be more tactful, but Sora had no such thoughts.
Kurenai Yuhi rolled her eyes slightly and replied calmly.
"That is true. I have always taken pride in my genjutsu, but today I discovered that it was completely useless against him and was reflected so easily."
Although she felt frustrated, she was not narrow-minded.
She continued honestly, "Even though I don't want to admit it and find it difficult to accept, I still must face it.
I hope to learn a way to improve my genjutsu from you, and the next time we meet him I will repay the humiliation of having my genjutsu reflected."
Sora nodded and said, "Since I agreed to help you, I won't go back on my word."
He began explaining his own understanding of genjutsu and also shared many of the theoretical insights he had learned from Tsunade.
Kurenai Yuhi listened attentively with growing interest.
Having a powerful teacher truly made a huge difference.
Not only would it prevent many mistakes and wasted effort, but it also allowed someone to grow stronger much faster.
At that moment, Kurenai Yuhi realized that she had been like a frog at the bottom of a well.
After absorbing Sora's understanding of genjutsu, she also began sharing her own experiences and even revealed several of the techniques she had mastered.
Sora listened quietly before saying, "It seems you rarely have the chance to exchange knowledge with others."
His opinion of her improved slightly after seeing how openly she shared her abilities.
Kurenai Yuhi nodded and said helplessly, "That's true. Kakashi doesn't follow the path of genjutsu, neither does Asuma, and Guy even less so.
There's nothing for us to exchange, and besides they might not necessarily share their techniques or insights with me."
Sora replied thoughtfully, "As far as I know, when the First Hokage and Second Hokage were still alive, any Konaha ninja who had enough merit could exchange it for powerful techniques."
This was not a lie.
During the era of war, Konaha grew stronger precisely because of the tolerance and broad-minded leadership of the First and Second Hokage.
As long as someone belonged to Konaha, had sufficient merit, and possessed the talent to learn, they could exchange their achievements for powerful techniques from the Hokage.
That was why Konaha had repeatedly defeated enemies with superior numbers during the Ninja World Wars and continued producing powerful ninja.
However, after the First and Second Hokage passed away, the number of powerful ninja gradually decreased and each generation became weaker than the previous one.
The reason was simple.
Konaha had become increasingly rigid and suspicious.
Many of the original systems were abolished, and the leaders feared betrayal and leaks.
Even jonin, the backbone of the village, were constantly monitored.
For jonin without strong backgrounds like Kurenai Yuhi, everything truly depended on their own efforts.
Kurenai Yuhi smiled bitterly and said, "I've thought about that before, but unfortunately it's impossible now."
She knew that such a system once existed to support civilian geniuses and powerful ninja, but it had long been abandoned.
In the eyes of Danzo and the Third Hokage, techniques were not something that could be freely shared.
Even those loyal to them could only receive limited teachings depending on circumstances.
Sora nodded and said simply, "Understood."
He picked up a pen and began drawing characters, lines, and patterns across a sheet of paper. After finishing, he stood up.
Sora looked at Kurenai Yuhi and said calmly, "Actually, my genjutsu level is inferior to yours. I was only able to break Uchiha Itachi's dōjutsu because of my Bloodline Limit.
Similarly, Uchiha Itachi's genjutsu is not necessarily more sophisticated than yours. He reflected your genjutsu because of the Sharingan."
He paused before continuing, "So you don't need to feel discouraged or lose confidence in your genjutsu, because you are already one of the most outstanding genjutsu experts I have ever seen."
