Inside the store, Jenna and the store attendant were doing business, unaware of Daniel's presence.
"Miss, we currently have—" the attendant glanced at the screen, "thirty-two tablets, twenty laptops, twelve televisions, eight gaming consoles, and about twenty portable music devices in stock."
Jenna shook her head, "That's not enough."
Before Jenna could be discouraged, the lady quickly added, "We have branches around the city, let me put a call through."
Jenna's eyes lit up slightly.
"Good," she said immediately. "Call all of them."
The attendant nodded quickly, stepping aside as she began placing rapid calls, her tone shifting into professional urgency.
"Jenna, I have been looking for you." Daniel suddenly said out loud, stepping into the store.
Jenna turned slightly, "Did you get what you wanted?"
"I did." His reply was flat, lacking the enthusiasm he'd displayed when they walked into the electronics market together.
