Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Attacked by a Witch!

"Is it raining?" Lia looked out the window and saw thunder and lightning outside. Accompanied by the booming sound of thunder, the long-brewing storm finally arrived.

It has been 14 years since she came to this world. Once this rain ends, it will be time to leave.

Lia glanced at the heavy rain outside and was about to close the window when suddenly, accompanied by a cool breeze, a dark shadow appeared in her room.

"What?" Sensing something, Lia quickly looked behind her and saw a woman wearing a veil and court-like attire appearing in her room.

"Who are you?! Why are you in my room?" Seeing this unknown woman, Lia's pupils suddenly constricted. She felt an inexplicable sense of danger from this woman!

"You're asking who I am?" The veiled woman lightly curled the corners of her mouth.

"Others call me the Witch of Rain."

"Witch of Rain...?" Although Lia didn't know what it meant, showing up at her house on a rainy day like this, she really was a Witch of Rain.

But since she's a witch, she definitely isn't anyone good!

"Hehe, although I don't mind others calling me that, I'd still prefer you to call me Sister, or perhaps something even more intimate~" The witch laughed softly, but her eyes revealed a dangerous aura.

"Hah?" Lia was instantly stunned by the other person's words.

"What, did that fellow Merlin not tell you that you have an elder sister named Morgan le Fay?"

The witch, or rather Morgan, said as the veil on her face vanished. It was a face more mature than Lia's, looking extremely enchanting.

"Morgan le Fay?" Lia had certainly heard of this name.

Like herself, Morgan le Fay was the daughter of King Uther and was her elder sister.

After King Uther's death, she had always lived in the royal city. However, because she was a woman, she could not control the other cities outside the royal city, and those feudal lords would not listen to her.

The reason Morgan was called a witch was simple: she did everything according to her own whims and was skilled in magecraft, often punishing those who didn't listen to her. Thus, people called her a witch.

But since she's my sister, she shouldn't do anything to harm me, right?

Lia thought for a moment and asked, "Sister...? Why did you suddenly come here? Do you need something?"

Morgan raised an eyebrow and spoke in a dissatisfied tone:

"It's all because that useless trash Merlin is good for nothing. He told me the King Selection Plan has changed and ended our cooperation. So, I decided to come and see for myself. It's been so many years; I wanted to see how that guy has trained my dear little sister."

"Plan? Do you guys have some kind of plan?"

Hearing that Merlin was involved, Lia wasn't surprised. After all, since she was old enough to understand things, Merlin had been telling her that she would become king in the future.

To that end, he taught her various national governance strategies and required her to cross-dress as a man indefinitely.

"That fellow Merlin said he was going to set up some 'Sword of Selection' thing and wanted me to play along with him. But that's in the past now, and there's no point talking about it. I'm more curious to know—now that you're just a village girl with no power and no prestige, can you still conquer Britain without my help?" Morgan's eyes

turned dangerous.

Her agreement with Merlin was naturally to acknowledge Lia's status as king after the Sword of Selection was pulled. In exchange, he would help the two of them produce the next legitimate heir to the kingdom.

But now that this agreement had been voided, there was definitely something she didn't understand, and it must have a great deal to do with her sister.

Seeing her sister's ill-intentioned gaze, Lia also became guarded.

"I don't know what you're talking about, and I'm not interested in your and Merlin's plans. If you don't have anything else, please leave my room."

"Leave? Hehehe~" Morgan laughed softly upon hearing this.

"What are you laughing at? Do you actually want to stay here?" Lia frowned.

"Stay here? Since my sister has invited me, even a thatched hut like this isn't out of the question. You should be grateful to me~" Morgan narrowed her eyes.

Since that fellow Merlin went back on his word, she had no need to keep her promise. She would settle things tonight to avoid any future complications!

She still believed in Merlin's prophecy. Since that guy said her sister could unify Britain in the future, then she surely could.

"How shameless. I never said you could stay."

Lia felt more and more that her situation was problematic. Although this woman was beautiful, she was dangerous to the core, and the whole room was filled with a strange citrus scent.

Her subconscious told her that she couldn't let her stay!

"That's not up to you!" Morgan's tone suddenly changed, and she stood before Lia like a gust of wind.

Lia was startled and tried to force her back with a punch, but she hit nothing but air.

The Morgan standing before her turned into a black shadow that wrapped around her body like black mud, pinning her in place.

"I can't move!" Lia was shocked. She hadn't expected her sister to be so powerful, subduing her in a single move.

"What do you want to do?" Now that her life was in someone else's hands, Lia's tone weakened slightly.

Morgan didn't answer immediately. She just looked at Lia with a half-smile, then slowly spoke: "Guess what I'm going to do?"

"How should I know? Let me go, quickly."

"It seems I need to teach you how to respect your sister." After saying that, Morgan picked Lia up and, amidst Lia's cries of surprise, threw her onto the bed.

"Ah!" Lia only had time to cry out before Morgan pressed her whole body down on her.

Then, under Lia's terrified gaze, a hand reached into her clothes.

Looking at the ashamed and indignant expression on Lia's face, Morgan leaned down and whispered into Lia's ear: "This is knowledge you won't find in textbooks, sister. You need to experience it properly~"

"Experience your sister!" At this point, no matter how slow Lia was, she knew exactly what her sister was going to do to her!

"Detected that the host is in an unexpected scenario. Intimacy System activated!" Just as Lia was overwhelmed with shame and anger, the system's voice suddenly rang in her mind.

"System?" Lia was first stunned, then filled with wild joy.

She had been transmigrated for so many years, and the system finally appeared!

"System, save me!" Lia hurriedly called out.

"Hello, Host. This system is the Intimacy System. As the name suggests, once the host completes an intimate act with a girl, you can obtain one of their skills. Please keep up the good work and do not give up halfway."

"What the hell?" Lia suddenly felt a deep sense of betrayal!

Chapter 2: Times Have Changed!

"Stupid system! What use are you to me!" Dammit, Lia thought it would save her from this misery, but it turned out to be a 'kick-her-while-she's-down' system!

After cursing the stupid system, Lia felt the strange sensations coming from her body.

As Morgan's fingertips continued to slide down...

The sound of rain outside also quietly stopped... "I really am biologically a girl now." In the morning, Lia woke up somewhat dazed, with nothing on her body. Only the damp bedsheets proved what had happened last night.

Recalling everything that happened last night, "But... it's not like I'm unhappy about it..."

Lia felt like something was wrong with her thinking. She was forced by her own sister, yet she actually felt it wasn't that bad.

Although the other party didn't take her most precious thing, it was a fact that she had been forced.

So why did this happen?

Lia couldn't help but recall the beginning of all this.

Year 450 AD, in a remote rural town on the European continent.

A blonde, blue-eyed girl wearing a blue dress with a white linen garment over it sat at a wooden table.

On the wooden table were some clay jars filled with powders of strange colors.

The girl picked up a spoon and poured the powders from the jars, spoonful by spoonful, into a wooden container.

On the wall of the wooden container were measurements she had carved beforehand to ensure the amount wasn't too much or too little.

Once the girl felt the amount was sufficient, she would pour the powder out into a smaller bamboo tube.

"What are you doing, Artoria?" Not far from the girl, a white-haired man looked at her actions with curiosity.

Hearing this, Lia just glanced at the white-haired man and said indifferently, "Making an epoch-making item, of course—something that will even amaze you."

The white-haired man scratched his hair. He approached Lia, took the bamboo tube, and glanced at the powder inside—it was yellow—then sniffed it with his nose.

A pungent smell entered his nose. With just one sniff, he felt he couldn't stand it and quickly put down the bamboo tube. "What the hell is this? The smell is so pungent!"

The white-haired man couldn't help but complain.

"This thing is called sulfur. I think you should have heard of it," Lia said calmly.

"Oh, so it's that... but isn't this some kind of medicinal herb? Lia, are you switching careers to become a doctor?" the white-haired man said jokingly.

"Actually, being a doctor is not bad. It's much better than going to restore some Kingdom of Britain," Lia sighed.

She was originally an otaku from the 21st century. She didn't know what happened, but she suddenly transmigrated and was reborn, even becoming a baby girl.

As a baby girl, she was taken away by this white-haired man right after she was born.

However, when she was taken, she did hear this man talking with her father about her.

Originally, she was supposed to be born as the Prince of Britain. Once she grew up, the man would use various methods to help her reclaim the throne.

Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. The original baby boy turned out to be a baby girl. However, this didn't change their plan; the baby girl would just be raised as a boy.

So, to prevent her from being assassinated when she was young, the man secretly took her out of the palace and came to this remote countryside.

Since she was a child, she was supposed to follow the man to learn swordsmanship and national governance so she could reclaim the throne in the future.

Holy crap, isn't this the story of King Arthur!

It turns out she had become King Arthur, Artoria!

Unfortunately, Lia's inner self was a transmigrator from modern times. She sneered at Merlin's governance strategies. If she really followed Merlin's way, she would just be repeating the same mistakes!

The idea of dressing as a man for a lifetime was something she wouldn't even consider. She only learned the so-called swordsmanship.

Thus, Lia showed her rebellious nature from a young age, and this rebellion has lasted until now, which also made Merlin very troubled.

What should be done if Artoria doesn't learn governance? How would she rule a country in the future?

It wasn't that Lia didn't want to learn, but the governance strategies Merlin taught were simply a path to national ruin!

Exploiting commoners? A governance strategy that involves cooperating with nobles? Even if she really became king in the future, what good end would she have?

What kind of trash are nobles? Anyone who knows, knows.

Moreover, she came from a modern society and had read so many novels about being an emperor; how could she not know how to govern a country?

The best way is to deal with the parasites that are the nobles so the people can live happily. Why would she need Merlin to teach her those things?

Therefore, Lia didn't want to hear a single word of Merlin's way of governance.

Lia ignored Merlin's muttering on the side and continued with what she was doing.

She mixed the niter, sulfur, and charcoal powder she had prepared according to precise measurements. Then, she poured the mixed gunpowder into the bamboo tube.

Lia found a bamboo lid, covered the top, and pulled out a fuse from the top. A simple firecracker was finished.

"What is this little thing for?" Seeing Lia seal the bamboo tube and place it on the table, Merlin took it and looked it over.

"I call this gunpowder," Lia stopped her movements and looked at Merlin.

"gunpowder? What's that?" It was the first time Merlin had heard this word, and he was very puzzled. There was actually something he didn't know.

"I will call this the greatest invention of the 4th century because it can change the world's landscape!" Lia took the bamboo tube. The black gunpowder inside weighed a full kilogram.

How powerful was a kilogram of black gunpowder? It could completely turn a two-story building into ruins!

"Huh?" Merlin listened with a look of confusion. The greatest invention? Changing the world's landscape? This thing is that powerful? Why couldn't he see it at all?
