Chapter 106: The Wedding Chaos Begins
(Jay Jay's POV)
The morning after the proposal felt unreal.
I woke up with a smile already on my face, my engagement ring catching the sunlight as I stretched beneath the blankets.
For a moment, I simply stared at it.
Jay (thinking):
"...I'm engaged... I'm actually engaged to Mark Keifer Watson."
A soft chuckle escaped me.
Even after saying yes, it still felt like a dream.
Beside me, Keifer was still asleep, one arm wrapped securely around my waist as if he was afraid I might disappear.
Jay:
"Keifer..."
His eyes opened immediately.
Keifer:
"Morning, fiancée."
The word alone made my face burn.
Jay:
"Stop saying it like that."
Keifer smirked.
Keifer:
"No."
Before I could respond, his phone suddenly exploded with notifications.
Then mine did too.
Both of us looked at each other.
Jay:
"...Section E."
Keifer:
"...Definitely Section E."

Three Hours Later
The entire Section E had somehow invaded our house.
Calix was sitting on the couch eating snacks.
Felix was scrolling through wedding venues.
Blaster was already making ridiculous suggestions.
Denzel and Drew were arguing over what songs should be played.
Rory and Edrix were taking engagement photos of us every five minutes.
Eren and Josh were placing fake bets on who would cry first at the wedding.
Mayo and Kit sat together on one side, happily watching the chaos unfold.
Eman and Ci-N were helping organize guest lists.
David was trying—and failing—to keep everyone under control.
David:
"Can everyone stop yelling for one minute?"
Nobody listened.
Not even a little.

I watched Jay Jay laugh with our friends.
Her smile.
Her happiness.
That alone made everything worth it.
Then Calix suddenly stood up.
Calix:
"IMPORTANT QUESTION."
The room became silent.
That should have worried me.
Calix pointed dramatically at us.
Calix:
"When are the babies coming?"
The entire room exploded.
Felix:
"YES!"
Blaster:
"We need answers!"
Denzel:
"Future Section E members!"
Drew:
"We're asking for the people!"
Jay Jay nearly choked on her drink.
Jay:
"W-WHAT?!"
Her entire face turned bright red.
The room somehow got louder.
Rory:
"Look at her blushing!"
Edrix:
"She's already imagining it!"
Jay:
"I AM NOT!"
Eren:
"You totally are."
Josh:
"Absolutely."
Mayo laughed so hard he nearly fell off the couch while Kit buried his face in his shoulder trying not to laugh.
Mayo:
"Poor Jay Jay."
Kit:
"She's suffering."
Jay:
"Thank you, Kit!"
Kit:
"Oh, I'm still laughing."
Jay groaned.

Everyone turned toward me.
The teasing immediately shifted.
Felix:
"Well, Keifer?"
Calix:
"What's your answer?"
Blaster:
"We're waiting."
I looked at Jay Jay.
She looked ready to disappear.
The blush on her face was adorable.
I wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her closer.
Keifer:
"We'll try."
The room exploded.
Jay:
"KEIFER!"
I couldn't stop laughing.
Her face somehow turned even redder.
Denzel:
"HE SAID IT!"
Drew:
"WE HAVE CONFIRMATION!"
Rory:
"Somebody write that down!"
Edrix:
"Future aunties and uncles, everyone!"
The entire house shook with laughter.
Jay buried her face against my shoulder.
Jay:
"I hate all of you."
Calix:
"No, you don't."
Jay:
"...Maybe not."

The rest of the afternoon became wedding planning chaos.
Venues.
Flowers.
Guest lists.
Food.
Decorations.
Everything.
Everyone had opinions.
Far too many opinions.
Yet somehow, through all the noise, all the teasing, and all the chaos, I couldn't stop smiling.
Because every time I looked down at my ring...
Every time I caught Keifer staring at me...

My heart fluttered all over again.
This wasn't just wedding planning.

Forever didn't feel far away.
It felt closer than ever.
