Rivergate Training Grounds
The training yard of the Rivergate Kingdom echoed with the sound of clashing steel. Selva moved like lightning. Her blade cut through the air again and again, striking the training dummy with brutal precision. Each strike was faster than the last.
Sweat ran down her forehead, but she didn't stop. A S-Rank hero could not afford weakness. Around the yard, several other summoned heroes were training as well. The kingdom had begun preparing them for something important.
Rumors were spreading. A major expedition or perhaps a war.
Selva stopped briefly, breathing heavily. Her eyes drifted toward the horizon.
"…Aragon."
Something about his death still bothered her. For a moment, her grip on the sword tightened. Then she resumed training even faster this time.
Intelligence Report
Inside a quiet office, a man knelt before his superior. Both men belonged to the intelligence division of the Brightshore Kingdom.
The younger agent spoke carefully,
"Sir, the target has not been seen for fourteen days."
The senior officer frowned
"Fourteen?"
"Yes, The man known as Aragon has completely disappeared from Marsh Town."
The officer leaned back in his chair.
"Friends?"
"One visitor two weeks ago. A man named Daren. After that… nothing."
The room fell silent, finally the officer spoke again,
"Keep watching the town."
"Yes, sir."
But as the agent left the room, the officer quietly muttered to himself.
"An F-Rank hero disappearing without a trace…"
"That's rarely a coincidence…."
Inside the Dungeon
Floor 81
Deep within the dungeon, Aragon continued descending. The deeper floors felt ancient. The air was colder, the shadows thicker. His new Shadow Sovereign Armor moved silently with every step, and Shadowfang rested comfortably in his hand. Creatures attacked frequently now,
Shadow beasts.....
Winged horrors...…
Armored monsters born from living darkness. But none could stop him.
The sword cut through them like mist.
Each defeated creature dissolved into shadow energy that strengthened him further.
Floor 85
The dungeon corridor opened into a ruined hall. Broken pillars lay scattered across the ground. Aragon defeated a pair of massive shadow warriors here.
After the battle he discovered a SS-Rank crystal dagger embedded in the stone floor. With a simple touch, the weapon vanished into his Shadow Vault Ring.
He smiled slightly,
"This ring might be the best thing I found here."
Floor 88
A hidden chamber revealed several rare items. A bundle of mana stones, a pair of S-Rank enchanted boots, and a small glowing crystal containing condensed magical energy.
All of it went into the ring, Aragon began realizing something. This dungeon wasn't just a battlefield it was a treasure vault.
Floor 90
Here the dungeon became eerily quiet.
The walls were carved with ancient murals. Five figures stood in the center of every carving,
Powerful...
Divine....
And above them was always the same symbol, M5 , Aragon stopped in front of one of the murals.
"…The Majestic Five."
He still didn't know who they were.
But the deeper he went…
The more their presence filled the dungeon.
Floor 93
A colossal shadow beast guarded the passage. The battle was brief but violent. Shadowfang pierced the creature's heart.
From its remains, Aragon recovered a SS-Rank mana core, far more valuable than anything he had seen before.
It disappeared into the ring.
Floor 96
The dungeon pressure intensified.
Even the shadows felt heavier Aragon could feel it clearly now. Something powerful was waiting below.
Floor 99
The final corridor stretched endlessly forward. The walls were smooth and ancient, carved with massive symbols.
M
Then further ahead,
5
Aragon slowed his steps,
"…So this is it….Floor 100
….."
The corridor finally opened into a massive chamber. And there it stood, a colossal ancient gate. The left side of the door carried the symbol M.
The right side carried 5. Together, they formed the mark he had seen throughout the dungeon, M5.
Two gigantic stone statues stood beside the gate. Ancient guardians carved from black stone. Warriors cloaked in armor, their weapons resting against the ground,
They did not move...….
They did not attack...…..
They simply watched...…..
Aragon walked slowly toward the gate.
His footsteps echoed across the silent chamber. Something about the place felt sacred,
Ancient...…
Powerful...…
He stopped just before the door. The surface of the gate was covered with strange runes that pulsed faintly with shadow energy. Aragon placed his hand against the cold stone,
For a moment…
Nothing happened...
Then somewhere deep beyond the gate
Something stirred....
