Chapter 38 - Chapter 38: The Man with Two Faces Who Kept Growing

The next morning. The sun had risen over the mountains of Yada. Musa was sitting on the balcony. Saeed and Husain were beside him. Zakia was playing in the yard. The sound of her laughter drifted through the air.

Holding a cup of tea, Saeed said, "Musa, yesterday you told us about Max. What happened after that? Did you start growing up?"

Musa smiled. That smile carried memories of the past. "Yes. I grew up. And as I grew up, two people began to grow inside me. One was Robert's son, a scientist, a researcher, the heir of a great company. And the other was… Dark Psycho."

Husain asked, "How did it begin?"

Musa took a deep breath and began—

Geneva, Switzerland

1989–1995 – The Man with Two Faces

After Max disappeared, my life slowly returned to normal. Robert and Elizabeth never allowed me to feel alone. They loved me, protected me, and guided me.

I was about twelve or thirteen then. One day Robert called me and said, "Musa, you are growing up now. I want you to start learning the work of my company. One day you will own it."

I replied, "But I am still young."

Robert laughed. "Young? You are more intelligent than many adults. Come, let us begin."

That was the beginning. Every day after school I went to Robert's company. I learned office work. I spoke with scientists. I spent time in research laboratories.

I realized that Robert's company did not only do business. They also did many good things. They developed medicines, invented technologies, and improved people's lives. I was deeply impressed.

One day Robert took me to the company's main research laboratory. There I saw enormous machines. Scientists in white coats were working everywhere. An elderly scientist looked at me and smiled.

Robert said, "This is Doctor Hans Mayer. Our chief scientist. One of the greatest minds in the world."

Doctor Mayer shook my hand and said, "So you are Musa? I have heard a lot about you. About your intelligence."

I felt shy and said, "I am nothing."

Doctor Mayer replied, "No, son. You are special. Come, let me show you something."

That day he showed me many things. Research experiments. New discoveries. My eyes and mind opened wide. I realized how much knowledge still existed in the world.

From that day Doctor Mayer became my mentor. I spent time with him every day. He taught me science, research, and even lessons about life.

But during all this, something else was growing inside me.

I could never forget Max. His threats, his cruelty, his final words—they constantly echoed in my mind. I knew that one day I would see him again. One day I would face his father.

I was not only learning science. I was also learning how to understand people, how to find their weaknesses. Through Robert's company I met many important people. Politicians, military officers, intelligence chiefs—they all came to meet Robert.

I listened quietly. I observed them. I understood their plans and their weaknesses. I remembered everything.

One day Doctor Mayer told me, "Musa, you will not become only a scientist. You will become something greater."

I asked, "What?"

He replied, "You will become the person who changes the world. For the better."

I stayed silent. I did not know what to say.

When I turned fifteen, Robert placed me on the company's board of directors. Everyone was shocked. Such a young boy? But no one could object. Because I had already proven that I was capable.

I introduced new projects for the company. I conducted research with Doctor Mayer. We developed new medicines. We created new technologies. The company's success grew every day.

Robert was very happy. He would hug me and say, "Musa, you are my pride. You are my son."

Elizabeth was happy too. She would say, "We thought we had no one in this world. But Allah gave us the best son."

I was happy too. But deep inside, something else continued to move.

At night when I went to sleep, memories returned. That night in Bahida. Layla's smile. My father's face. My mother's affection. My grandmother's song. Then the bomb. The destruction. The bodies.

I knew who was responsible for all of this—United Ameron. The Council of Seven. They had to be stopped.

I thought about how I could stop them. I was just a boy. But I had a mind. I had intelligence. And now I also had power. Robert's company had given me many opportunities.

Secretly I began building a network. My own people. People who would listen to me and work for me. I named it IDFC – International Dark Forces Corps.

I used the word "Dark" because I knew this work had to be done in the shadows. If it became public, everyone would try to stop me. But in darkness, no one sees. And "Psycho"? Because I knew I had to become fearless. So fearless that the world would think I was insane.

One day Doctor Mayer asked me, "Musa, will you remain only a scientist? Or do you want something more?"

I answered, "I want something more. But it will happen in darkness."

Doctor Mayer became quiet. After a moment he said, "I understand. I only pray that you never lose yourself."

I smiled. "I will not lose myself. I will find myself."

From that time my two faces were fully formed. One face was Robert's worthy successor, Doctor Mayer's favorite student, the young director of a powerful company. The other face was Dark Psycho—the one weaving networks in the shadows, the one burning with the fire of revenge, the one dreaming of the fall of United.

When I turned eighteen, Robert made me the owner of the company. He said, "Musa, I am getting old. Now you run this company. I am sure you will do well."

I asked, "You will stay with me, right?"

Robert replied, "Always. As long as I live."

Elizabeth began to cry. She hugged me and said, "You are our son. We love you very much."

I wiped my eyes and said, "I love you too."

That day I made a promise. No matter how powerful I became, no matter how great I grew, I would never forget these people. They taught me love. They were my family.

But at the same time, Dark Psycho also continued to grow. IDFC expanded. My people spread across many parts of the world. I learned how to build weapons, how to fight wars, how to destroy enemies.

I grew up as a man with two faces. One face smiling. The other burning with fire.

Musa stopped. The sun was now high in the sky. It was noon.

Saeed asked, "Then what happened? Did Doctor Mayer know about your other face?"

Musa smiled. "Perhaps he did. But he never said anything. He was a wise man. He knew when to speak and when to remain silent."

Husain asked, "What about Robert and Elizabeth?"

Musa wiped his eyes and said softly, "They did not know. I hid it from them. If they had known, they would have been afraid. I loved them too much to hurt them."

Zakia ran toward them and said, "Uncle! Uncle! Look at my doll!"

Musa lifted her into his arms. The little girl was laughing. In her laughter, Musa sometimes saw Layla's smile.

He said, "It is a very beautiful doll. Go play now. I will come soon."

Zakia ran back to the yard. Musa looked at the sky again.

Saeed asked, "Then what happened? How did you become known as Dark Psycho?"

Musa replied, "That is another story. Enough for today. I will tell it tomorrow."

Saeed and Husain understood. Not today.

The afternoon sun shone over the mountains of Yada. Musa stood there quietly. In his eyes there was still fire. But today that fire carried a strange peace.

Because he knew—one day every story ends. Whether good or bad, it ends.

And he was ready.
