The sun is overhead. The noon light has fallen upon the peak of the Yadar mountains. Musa is standing on the veranda. In his eyes that fire—but today it is different. Today it is not calm, today it is burning.
Saeed and Husain are standing beside him. Zakia is playing inside the room. The doctor has come, her treatment is ongoing.
Musa suddenly turned around. "Husain."
Husain stepped forward. "Commander?"
Musa locked eyes with him. Slowly he said, "Inform all the Prime Ministers of my countries. Right now."
Husain paused slightly. "All countries? Meaning…"
Musa said, "Yes. All countries. From Western Europe to South Africa, from Central Asia to the Middle East—inform all the Prime Ministers of forty countries."
Husain whispered, "What shall I inform them, Commander?"
Musa looked out the window and said, "Tell them—Dark Psycho has returned. After fifteen years. Where he was all this time, no one knows. But he has returned."
Husain understood. Nodding his head, he said, "As you command, Commander. I am arranging it immediately."
Husain left. Saeed came closer and said, "Are you sure? You stayed hidden for so long. Why now?"
Musa smiled. A strange smile. "The time has come, Saeed. For fifteen years I have waited. And now United Ameron will know—Dark Psycho did not die. He is alive. And he has returned."
Saeed said nothing. He simply stood silently.
Two hours later. News began to appear on the giant monitor of Yadar's main headquarters. Husain quickly returned. A remote in his hand. The wall screen lit up.
Musa, Saeed, and Husain sat in front of the screen.
On the screen first appeared a top European news outlet. A female journalist is saying—
"Breaking News. After fifteen years, Dark Psycho has returned. The mysterious terrorist leader whose name once made the world's intelligence agencies tremble is active again. Where was he all this time? No one knows. His organization IDFC has given no statement. However, sources say he has already begun contacting his loyal countries."
The screen changed. Now a major African channel. A journalist is saying—
"Panic has spread across the African continent. Dark Psycho, who was once the unofficial ruler of many countries of this continent, has returned. From Central Africa to South Africa his influence existed. Now the question—what does his return mean? A new conflict? Or peace?"
The screen changed again. Now an Asian news outlet.
"In the countries of Central Asia, even today people are terrified hearing the name of Dark Psycho. Fifteen years ago he disappeared. Many believed he was dead. But today news has arrived—Dark Psycho has returned. Where was he all this time? Why did he return? No one knows."
For the last time the screen showed in front of the Defense Tower of United Ameron. A reporter is saying—
"An emergency meeting has been called at the Defense Tower of United Ameron. The intelligence community is in uproar over the news of Dark Psycho's return. It is believed this news could bring major changes to world politics. No statement has yet been received from the Council of Seven. However, sources say they are deeply concerned."
The screen turned off. Silence descended upon the room.
Husain looked at Musa. "Commander, is this what you wanted?"
Musa smiled. "Yes. Now they know—Dark Psycho has returned. Now their waiting begins."
Saeed said, "Will you meet them?"
Musa looked outside the window. Evening has descended upon the Yadar mountains. "We shall see, Saeed. In due time. Let them spend a few days in fear first. Then there will be a meeting."
The sun is setting. An orange glow in the sky of Yadar. Musa is standing. In his eyes that fire. This time it will burn.
From outside came the sound of Zakia's laughter. She is recovering. The little girl is running around. Musa looked at her and smiled. In that smile there was a vow—I will raise this girl. I will fulfill her parents' dreams. And those who killed them, there will be justice.
Night is falling. The Yadar mountains are again being covered in darkness. But in Musa's eyes there is light. Dark Psycho has returned. And this time he will spare no one.
