It's been about a week since I've been here, and so far things have been normal. After the meeting with Rias and her peerage things didn't speed up or slow down. I still went to school, hung out with Aika, hung out seldom with the ORC. I even befriended Issei.
Honestly besides the perversion he ain't that bad of a guy. He's pretty chill, loves to goof around, and surprisingly seems the most tame of the trio most of the time. Speaking of which, the other two do not like me at all, even tried to convince Issei to not talk with me, which he refused.
We've actually hung out a few times at and around school. He actually has a really good knack for fighting games, not like that one random person I played against that one time as I'd usually win against Issei, but he does win often enough.
Other then that I noticed someone spying on me, of course I already know who it was, Koneko. So I didn't bother calling her out or stopping her, she's not doing anything besides observing me so it's all fine.
Today I got another roulette spin and I'm just about to spin it, so here's to getting something good. I opened the system shop once more and went to the roulette section for a second time.

This weeks options were higher and lower in some places. The best I can see here is: crystal creation, divine eyes, dragon blood, summon card, and weakness removal card. +2 spins is great but the chances of me still hitting something like +5 to all stats and 100 yen are still the same.
I have a better chance of getting good stuff, but whether I get lucky or unlucky is left to be seen. So time for my spin.

Yes definitely. I quickly press the yes and suddenly feel warm all over like I was standing next to an open fire. Though the pain my eyes feel are a lot more attention catching. It feels like my eyes are on fire, and while I did want too, I held in a scream.
Thankfully the feeling didn't last long so I opened my eyes and everything looked so sharp and in focus. It both was awesome and painful as my head started to hurt from seeing everything so clearly.

Yeah that seemed about right. So I'm basically Gojo but without the whole infinite efficiency hack. I'm cool with that. 'Now where are those bandages, I don't have a blindfold so those will have too do'.

I'm now in class and explaining I got an injury to my eyes, but that I'd like to continue classes and not be sent home. After a good few minutes of persuasion he allowed it and told the other teachers as well.
Aika and Issei both showed their worry for me but I told them I'm alright. We three have essentially formed our own little group, which so far doesn't have a name. But anyway, classes continued like usual and I tested my eyes, which was easy considering no one could see them.
I could see in thermal, which took a moment to get used too, but after that it was fun. See through walls and people? Yep. I saw all the way into the old school house, and got an eyeful of Rias taking a shower. 'Why does she have a shower in her clubroom? That's so weird!'
As for precognition, I don't know. It didn't activate the whole time, so I'm guessing it requires either an internal or external stimuli I hadn't encountered yet. And the crystal creation? I tested it on the way here, creating and destroying crystal covering my fingers that were in my pockets at the time.
I found that they don't stay after being detached from me and actually disappear, returning half of my mana too me. I'm guessing that's only because their not damaged in any way, if they were I'd probably get a lower amount then that.
And I also found something out about my status. The whole prodigy thing? Yeah, it basically means I have ease creating new skills, which honestly doesn't surprise me. Honestly this past week has been great, but not being able to fight and fill the thrill after killing those zombies is driving me crazy. I need to find something to get some kind of thrill from soon man.

After school has finished Jack splits from both Aika and Issei, all of them waving as Aika heads to afterschool kendo, Issei heads out the gate with his two friends, and Jack turns to go to the ORC clubhouse.
Jack walks up to the door and knocks a few times. He has an idea today, he'll introduce his eyes as his sacred gear. This accomplishes a few things. One, he doesn't have to explain why he has bandages around his eyes. Two, they'll believe his eyes are his sacred gear and won't try to awaken a gear that's not there. Three, he wanted to make himself seem more valuable to them.
"Enter" Came from beyond the door, so Jack opened it and stepped inside to be greeted by Rias, Akeno, and Koneko. "Hello Rias, Akeno, Koneko" Jack smiled and closed the door behind him before walking over and taking a spot on the opposite couch to koneko.
"Hello to you too Jack, but what's with your eyes?" Rias was a little concerned as she heard that Jack apparently damaged his eyes, but Jack seemed hardly bothered at all. Jack smirked and responded "This is my sacred gear~" Now this threw Rias for a loop as she was betting on getting him in her peerage with the offer of awakening his gear, but that was now out the window.
"I see... What can they do?" Rias after gathering her thoughts was now curious as to what these eyes could do. Jack in response answered "Well for one, I can switch to thermal vision. And two... Rias you need to stop showering in here during school time, actually just stop showering in here period. It's weird." The first part caught Rias' attention as it's not exactly combat oriented but no less useful. The second part caught her off guard though.
"How did you?" She wasn't exactly embarrassed, she didn't care if someone she knew saw her naked. But the implications of him being able to see her in the clubroom raised a few questions. To which Jack answered "Telescopic vision + X-ray vision." Rias was now seeing this sacred gears true potential and it was amazing, especially for reconnaissance.
"Well that's certainly useful. How well can you use it?" She wanted to know his proficiency of his sacred gear. Jack frowned slightly "Not long. I can use it for a few minutes at a time, but it puts my eyes under strain and my head starts too hurt." Rias expected something similar to this, as eyes that powerful were bound to come with a great cost.
In reality Jack could go for about an hour, he just said a few minutes to downplay his eyes. The reason he got the headache the first time was due too just acquiring the eyes and needing them to adjust. After a few minutes they were feeling much better.
Akeno suddenly giggled and said "So we have a little perv? Spying on Rias you naughty boy~" Rias blushed a little now at that. Jack was blushing a little too but also flipped Akeno off. After a week with the ORC he was a lot more comfortable with them and saw them as friends, especially Kiba as he was the only other male here.
Sadly Kiba is doing contracts right now and isn't here, so it's just Jack, Rias, Akeno, and Koneko here. And after that whole conversation they all just started talking about random things. Akeno and Rias were playing chess, Koneko was playing on a handheld device and eating snacks. Jack was still messing around with his new eyes.
Eventually Kiba joined them, and he and Jack started talking about different things. Jack wanted to know more about swords and what types there were, and Kiba was more then happy to tell him about all there was.
"Hey Kiba, think you can teach me swordsmanship sometime?" Jack wanted to learn Kendo from Aika, but that was before being invited to Rias peerage and befriending the ORC. He'll probably still ask Aika for a few lessons, but for now he wanted to learn the basics from Kiba.
Kiba looked over to his king and got a nod from Rias, so he and Jack headed to a different room so he could show Jack the basics of his style. A few hours passed like this for everyone before they all left.

It's been another week in this world and things have been looking up recently. Aika, me, and Issei have gotten closer to the point we all hang out at my house, why mine? Cause I offered.
I've also been getting lessons from Aika and Kiba both on swordsmanship to the point my basic swordsmanship skill is now intermediate. Also both Akeno and Rias asked if I wanted to learn human magic so I said yes, and was instantly disappointed with how it worked. I mean seriously? calculations and only calculations.
I don't want to constantly do that so I just looked over what the spells did and tried recreating them by myself, and some worked while others didn't. I gained three new skills being [Basic Heal(C)], [Magic bolt(C)], and [Barrier(C)]. Every spell I learned was C grade which means their pretty good.
Other then all that things have still been quiet. Issei hasn't been asked out yet, no one has found out about my eyes, and everything has been peaceful so far. Now since it's been a week I can use another spin, and I'm hoping for another dungeon type prize.

Okay, fuck. That's amazing for some of the enemies in this world, but the only question is how long it will be useful for.

Okay nevermind, this is going to be amazing no matter how powerful my enemies are. I immediately press yes and the gun appears in my hand, feeling weightless in my hand. It's status is the next to show up.

This is amazing. I honestly can't wait to try this bad boy out. now for the flame atronach, this is going to be tricky. Thankfully Koneko has stopped monitoring me. But whether the summoning gives off a signature or not, I don't know.
I don't feel like leaving my new summon in wherever it is so I just use the card, and without any fanfare or special affects the flame atronach just forms in front of me. She? Sinks to one knee and bows her head. "Please don't bow to me, I don't like."
She tilts her head and stands back up before floating like they'd usually do in game. I open her status and take a look at her stats, she moves besides me and looks over my shoulder to look as well.

It seems her status matches my own with the exception of luck, stat/skill points, and potential. Ember as I now know seems to be happy with her status if her doing a little dance was anything to go by.
I chuckled at her little dance and closed her status for the moment. I went ahead and unsummoned her, which just turned her translucent, and got ready for another day of school. Quickly dressing and heading out the door with the translucent Ember in tow.
