"what does she mean by that" Alex asked him, fidgeting as she feels something is wrong but can't seem to place her hands on it
Ian looked at her for a long time till she started to feel nervous
"Let's get married" he says, scaring her witless
She froze, doubting if she heard correctly "married ; do you even know me"
"I'm not one to speak without thinking and sooner or later, you'll be mine, so it's better to get it now and I'll court you later" Ian looked spoke softly her
"Be mine and I'll give you all your heart desires, protect you and love you"
Alex looked at him coldly, and then stood up to leave despite the pains in her body " I should have known, did you bring me here to humiliate me, you do not know me and you claim to love me, how cheap is your love, a girl left not quite long and in assuming she's your woman"
"Do not insult yourself and me further by insinuating that, she's isn't and will never be my woman, you however will be, it's not a plea Alex" his deep voice sounding so nice "I'm informing you, I don't know what it takes to be with me but you will be with me, so why not give this a chance".
Silence ensued in the living room as they both looked at each other, she could see her reflection in his eyes, sincerity in his tone and words and she couldn't speak for a while.
"Do you love me? This is only the second day you are knowing me?" She asked quietly
"I usually don't believe in love at first sight, but you are an exception, from the moment I saved you and saw your face,I decided to make you mine Alex, I love you". Ian said looking at her face for any sign of acceptance.
