Chapter 236 - Chapter 235: Damian’s Creative Spirit is Eager for Action

Inside the underground base beneath Goldenrod City.

Carr wore a strange expression. After ending the call, he stared at the phone in his hand and fell into deep thought.

"Did Lord Damian give any orders? Or is he coming back to Johto?" Sird asked Carr suspiciously.

In her heart, she truly despised Carr. He was arrogant, boastful, and irritating—a short man who got on her nerves. However, she had to admit that his expression right now was very unusual.

If she had to describe it, it was as if he had seen a ghost. She had never seen that exact look on his face before.

"No, he should be returning soon. It's just that..." Carr stopped mid-sentence.

Carr snapped out of his thoughts and rested his chin on his right hand.

"Sird, dispatch agents to seize control of the Goldenrod Radio Tower in secret. Do it quietly. Do not let the League detect anything," Carr ordered after thinking for a moment.

"Huh?" Sird was stunned.

Seize control of the Goldenrod Radio Tower? What was the benefit of taking over a radio tower?

Besides, the Goldenrod Radio Tower was one of the largest in the Kanto and Johto regions. It would be extremely easy to get discovered. Once the League found out, they would launch a severe crackdown.

The main point was that there was no financial benefit to touching the tower. A radio tower was just a facility for broadcasting TV and radio. What use was it to Team Rocket? It looked like a lot of work for no reward.

"Don't just stand there saying 'huh.' This is Lord Damian's order," Carr replied impatiently.

"I understand," Sird replied.

A shadow of anger flashed through Sird's eyes. This man—Carr!

She had to move fast. Sird truly could not tolerate this short man's attitude anymore. Once Damian returned, she decided she would reveal her status as an undercover agent to him and pledge her loyalty.

Team Galactic? She was not going back there. Team Rocket was the one with real prosperity in the future! And as long as she didn't have to hide her identity, she was sure her skills would let her rise above Carr easily.

As for why Damian would accept a spy from Team Galactic, Sird was very confident. She had an extraordinary Pokémon with her—so powerful that she couldn't even control it. She would give it to Damian to prove her loyalty.

One day later, in the Unova region, at Damian's castle, by the backyard pool.

"Everything is basically resolved now," Damian said.

Damian lay on a lounge chair, watching Elesa swim in the pool.

His businesses in Unova were now fully operational. They had also received official authorization from the Unova League.

As for the official promotion from the Unova government, Alder still hadn't provided an answer. According to Damian's information, the high-ranking members of the Unova League had been arguing fiercely in the meeting room all night because of this.

The Unova League could afford the five billion. After all, it was a massive regional League; it had the funds. The fact that Team Rocket's companies were now legal was also barely acceptable, since the Hoenn region had already done it.

If Hoenn could do it, then it was at least somewhat reasonable for Unova to do it too. After all, the losses from going to war with Team Rocket would be far too great.

But asking the Unova League to promote Team Rocket's businesses was difficult.

The Unova League council members simply could not tolerate that. It felt like Damian was disregarding them completely and treating them poorly.

That was why the meeting room had been so loud last night. Some people were completely against it. Others said it was acceptable. Some tried to mediate and keep the two sides from fighting.

However, none of this mattered to Damian. In truth, he didn't care much whether the Unova League promoted his businesses. If they did, it would obviously boost the brand's recognition and sales. But it wasn't a requirement—it would just be a pleasant bonus.

"Lord Damian, are you going back to Kanto?" Concordia asked softly as she gently massaged Damian's leg.

She had just noticed Damian checking flight tickets to Kanto.

"Yeah. Team Plasma has been dealt with, and the Unova League has given in. I'll stay for a few more days to have fun, then head back," Damian replied with a nod.

He pulled Concordia into his arms. Feeling her soft body, he gently stroked her clean, pale cheek.

"Do you want to come back with me?" Damian asked with a smile.

To be honest, after being served by Concordia and Anthea in this castle for a while, he really liked the two of them. They were truly obedient in every way.

"If you want to take us with you, Lord Damian, we're willing to go," Concordia replied.

Her face turned slightly red, making her look even more beautiful against her pink hair. She spoke in a very gentle tone.

The Kanto region was where the Pokémon League headquarters was located. To an outsider like Concordia, Kanto was a very attractive place.

Besides, she and Anthea were traditional women. They had already given themselves to Damian, and under his guidance, they had tried many different activities. Now, they were determined to follow him wherever he went.

"Then come with me. We can come back to Unova when we have time in the future," Damian said without hesitating.

Unova was just one of the locations where Team Rocket had established its presence. Damian would not keep his main base here.

Concordia smiled. "Okay."

Her eyes were moist and gentle. It was a gaze an ordinary person couldn't resist.

Damian's instant decision made Concordia very happy. At the very least, it showed that Damian didn't just view them as toys; he actually cared about them.

At some point, Elesa had swum to the edge of the pool to rest. Her eyes looked complicated as she overheard their conversation. Damian was going back to Kanto soon, which meant she would soon be free.

But how should she explain it? Elesa felt a strange mix of emotions in her heart. She bit her lip, stood up, grabbed a towel to wipe her face, and then walked toward the shower room.

A short while later.

"Damian," N said as he walked over.

When he saw Concordia lying in Damian's arms with a gentle look, N felt a bit awkward.

Actually, he had noticed before that his two sisters had a special relationship with Damian. Now, N was certain—Concordia and Anthea really did have that kind of intimate relationship with him.

But it didn't seem like a normal boyfriend-and-girlfriend relationship.

N cared a lot about Concordia and Anthea. They were sisters who had grown up with him since childhood. N also knew they truly cared about him.

It seemed he needed to find a chance to have a serious conversation with them. N made a decision in his mind.

In his view, in terms of appearance and figure, Concordia and Anthea were both beautiful and outstanding. In terms of personality, they were polite, elegant, and well-educated. Even if they weren't related by blood, they were still his sisters. N felt it was necessary for them to try and win Damian's affection. He would support them fully!

"What is it, N?" Damian asked curiously.

"My subordinates reported that they found the location of the Abundant Shrine," N said.

"Oh? That's good news," Damian replied.

Damian's eyes lit up. The Abundant Shrine was where people venerated the deity of fertility—and that deity was Landorus in its Incarnate Form.

According to folklore, Landorus in its Incarnate Form appears to stop Thundurus and Tornadus when they clash with wind and lightning. After the storm passes, the land is guaranteed a bountiful harvest.

There was also another saying: wherever it visits, the crops are sure to flourish. Those were the stories of Landorus. Unlike the poorly behaved Thundurus and Tornadus, the legends about Landorus were all positive.

Also, to some extent—excluding Enamorus—the other three members of the group followed a very similar pattern to the Legendary Pokémon trio of Hoenn. Thundurus and Tornadus fight each other, and Landorus descends to stop them. That story sounded familiar.

In a way, Landorus's strength was definitely at the top tier among ordinary Legendary Pokémon. Since Damian had already captured Thundurus and Tornadus, there was no reason not to capture Landorus and Enamorus as well.

However, Enamorus was very difficult to track down. But Landorus had the Abundant Shrine, and Damian remembered that clearly.

If he didn't lack the locations for the Swords of Justice and Keldeo, Damian would have wanted to collect them all too. Although Damian didn't personally like them that much, he could still keep them. He could wait for a worthy member of Team Rocket to take them later.

Plus, it could motivate his subordinates to work harder. It was a beneficial situation for everyone.

"Any news on Enamorus?" Damian asked N.

"We haven't gathered any information on its location yet," N answered.

N shook his head. Compared to Landorus, Tornadus, and Thundurus, Enamorus's location was the most mysterious. There were only a few records of its appearances.

"Alright," Damian nodded.

It was always difficult to find the tracks of Legendary Pokémon, especially without any clues. But it didn't matter. Having the location of the Abundant Shrine was already enough.

Damian didn't waste any time. After having lunch, he set off with Caitlin and Elesa.

According to the information Team Rocket members had found, the Abundant Shrine was located on an island called Landorus Island.

There was something a bit unusual here. In some stories, it was called the Island of Three Clouds, referring to Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus.

In truth, there was also an Enamorus, but the old legends didn't include it. Enamorus only appeared in much older records. That actually made sense—Enamorus had the fewest stories among the group. It was normal for the people on the island not to know about it, so there was no shrine for it there.

Of course, there was another theory: Enamorus was the female counterpart to Landorus, so maybe they shared a shrine. If that was the case, were Landorus and Enamorus spending all their time together?

Landorus Island wasn't very large. Near the main island, there were two smaller islands, which belonged to Thundurus and Tornadus.

"The environment here is quite nice," Damian remarked.

Walking along the forest path, Damian's steps were relaxed and casual. There weren't many people living on the island—it was actually quite empty. The Abundant Shrine was located deep inside.

Damian was in no hurry. He had plenty of time.

However, after walking for a while, Damian raised an eyebrow. He stared ahead in surprise at the people in front of him.

Steven Stone, Wallace, and Alder happened to be walking out from a side path.

What a coincidence!

Damian couldn't help but feel amazed. His eyes moved between the three men, finally landing on Wallace and Alder.

A smile slowly spread across Damian's face.

"Caitlin, you should still have quite a few extra clothes in your backpack, right?" Damian suddenly asked.

His creative spirit was eager for action.

"I do," Caitlin replied.

She also saw Alder and the others. She immediately understood what Damian meant.

"Very good. It looks like my artist account can finally be updated," Damian said with a satisfied nod.

Elesa was confused when she heard that. What did that mean?
