Chapter 26 - Cruel X Academy

then broke out into a massive, booming laugh.

"Haha! Wow, you are one smart guy, Hanjun!"

Reki chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.

"You see, we are completely new to this kingdom as well, and we didn't have time to do proper paperwork, so we just bought these used, undocumented clothes."

As they began walking down the proper path together, Jayhon looked around the bustling streets, still amazed.

"Hey Reki, why are there so many weird-looking creatures in this city? Like those goblins, and those guys with actual wolf heads?"

"Oh, this kingdom welcomes almost many creatures from all over the world,"

Reki explained, kicking a loose stone as they walked.

"Except for a few specific ones. Like Demons or Onis—those guys carry way too much natural malice. And definitely no Hell-Armored Golems. Creatures like that just cause pure destruction wherever they go, it takes the king of a kingdom or highly skilled people to take them down."

Reki turned out to be an incredibly helpful guy.

When they finally arrived at the massive, sprawling stone grounds of the academy, Hanjun and Jayhon realized they didn't have any papers or uniform vouchers.

But Reki didn't care about the rules.

He completely took charge of the situation.

He walked straight through the administrative gates, using his own high standing and formidable presence to bypass the guards.

Reki literally escorted Hanjun, Jayhon, and his sister Shiki all the way to the upper-tier classroom building. Leaving the three of them in the hallway, Reki walked directly into the faculty office to speak with the academy higher-ups.

"They're with me," Reki told the head administrators, slamming his palms flat against the wooden desk.

"I want both of them in my class. No exceptions."

The administrators looked over the files, looking annoyed.

"Mr. Reki... since you are a highly professional student with exceptional capabilities, we can grant this request. But we must warn you. Your specific class contains some of the absolute best and most dangerous students in the entire academy. Are you sure they can handle the pressure?"

"They'll be fine," Reki grinned.

A few minutes later, Hanjun and Jayhon were handed their official academy uniforms. The clothes were sharp and clean, featuring a striking color scheme of deep purple and rich red cloth with silver buckles. After changing out of their dusty villager rags, they looked like proper students.

They stepped into the classroom alongside Shiki. The room instantly fell into a heavy, dead silence.

The space was enormous, arranged like an amphitheater, and several students turned their heads to stare at the newcomers.

Instantly, Hanjun and Jayhon noticed a deeply cold, freezing aura radiating from the front row. Sitting there was a young lady wearing incredibly expensive, custom-tailored silk garments instead of the standard academy uniform.

She had long, flowing white hair and sharp, piercing eyes that looked like blue crystals. She was an absolute, breathtaking beauty, but her expression was colder than ice.

Standing perfectly straight right beside her was another female with bright yellow hair, wearing a immaculate maid outfit and glasses.

Strangely, a heavy, scaled dragon tail protruded from the back of the maid's skirt, swishing slowly against the floorboards.

Over on the left side of the room, two massive black-furred werewolves and one white-furred werewolf were sitting on top of the desks. They weren't paying attention to the door; instead, they were watching a female Jester with bright orange hair and a checkered outfit who was juggling glowing daggers, trying her best to amuse them.

In a dark, shadowy corner of the room sat a male vampire.

He looked remarkably sophisticated, but his features made him seem a little too old to be attending an academy, whereas some other students looked incredibly young—like the two half-elf boys sitting near the center row.

Looking around, everyone was dressed in the purple and red academy uniforms, except for the white-haired charming lady and the dragon-tailed maid beside her.

Strangely, in the back row sat a large figure completely encased in thick, heavy iron armor and a closed helmet, and sitting right next to him was a literal skeleton wearing the academy uniform over its bare white ribs.

Shiki moved forward into the room, then noticed that Hanjun was walking right beside her, with Jayhon right next to him. She stopped, glaring at them.

"What are you doing? Just go wherever you want."

Hanjun blinked stupidly.

"Like where?"

Shiki sighed, pointing her finger at a completely random empty bench in the middle row.

"There. Go."

As she walked away, the orange-haired female jester immediately skipped over to her, jingling her bells.

"Heyyy! Welcome back!"
