Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Brat Part 1

Location : Arthur's House.

"Hey Arthur, could you look after my sister for the weekend?." A man asked, his voice and tone soft.

Arthur slowly turned towards him, his expression a mix of confusion and shock.

"Richard...."

"Dude, isn't your sister like 30?" Arthur asked."

"Yeah but she can be a bit immature when she's left alone, also i just dont trust her by herself, she can be a bit..." Richard said, rubbing his neck slightly.

Arthur sighed deeply, he didn't want to look after a grown ass woman for 2 days while his friend went.....wherever he was going.

"Listen man, I would love to help you but I'm really busy with work and stuff..." he told Richard.

"Dude, you don't have a job.... two you barely do anything besides making those r18 drawings." Richard told him.

Arthur turned red, he was deeply offended by Richard's accusations, even if they were all true.

"Hey man, that's not all true. I will tell you that drawing commissions for random people on the internet is a job." Arthur told him.

Richard rolled his eyes, he wasn't going to argue with Arthur. "Arthur, I'll pay you 250 dollars if you take care of her."

He told Arthur.

Arthur looked at Richard with a smirk, his gaze locked onto his. "Richard, if you think that I can be easily manipulated with money..".

He paused to catch his breath.

"Then you are absolutely right my friend." He told him, smiling wide.

Richard smiled as well as he got up, "alright, i'll call you when she'll arrive here, just be prepared with snacks and stuff."

Richard warned him, but Arthur told him it would be fine, what could be so difficult about looking after a grown woman.

3 days later....

Location : Arthur's House.

Arthur was laying stomach first on the couch. He was watching an old movie which he didn't know the name of.

"Man, this movie is so bad...." he muttered loudly, swinging his legs back and forth in the air.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

The sound rang through the apartment like a warning shot, not gentle like a visitor. More like a debt collector coming to get his money.

Arthur stood up, stretching his back lazily as he walked over to the door, "damn, who knocks like that?" He asked him.

He opened the door, revealing a tall, tired, slightly chubby looking woman.

Her hair was a mess, greasy and unkept, eyes carrying heavy bags beneath. She smelled a bit like sweat and energy drinks.

"Hello, can I help you?" Arthur asked, giving her a once over.

The woman placed her hand on her hip, her expression changing from neutral to annoyed.

"Oh I don't know, can you?." She asked him, her hand placed against the frame of the door as if to balance herself .

She didn't give him a chance to respond, speaking over him. "Youre my pathetic brothers best friend right, Arthur Moore. Yeah that stupid name."

"He told me I'll be spending the weekend here. I told him that I could handle myself, but he insisted. Saying 'you need someone to look after you'."

She said, mimicking his voice.

Arthur just sighed and made some space to allow her to enter. "Come in." He told her.

"Ugh finally, about God damn time." She said, taking a step into the apartment.

She sniffed the air once, flinching slightly. "It stinks here. I can't believe I stuck with her for the whole weekend."

She complained, adjusting her bag on her shoulder.

Arthur just stayed silent the whole time, his phone eventually rang, he looked and saw Richard's number.

"Hello." He answered.

"Hey man, is Sophia there yet. I gave her your directions."

"Anyway dude. I'm already at the airport. I just wanted to tell you that she has very specific conditions that need to be met."

Break! Crash! Shatter!!

The sounds come from the kitchen, Arthur rushes inside, he finds broken glass and jars on the ground.

"Ugh. Where are the snacks? I need something to eat." She complains, as she tosses another jar.

"So did you get all that?" Richard asked through the phone, but Arthur was too occupied with the nonsense happening in his house.

"Hey, stop that. Pick everything up right now." Arthur told her.

"Make me." She told him, crossing her arms over her chest. She stood firm in place, waiting for him to do something.

Arthur's eye twitched slightly, he wanted to shout but couldn't.

Damn it, I'm looking after a fully matured woman or a 13 year old tween. : He thought, as he looked at her with annoyance.
