Chapter 20 - Chapter 36-37

Chapter 36 – The Well-Deserved Rest

September 2015 – A Welcome Break

After months of intense work, Jacob Stewart was finally free.

Filming for The Revenant was complete, and while the film went through the editing and post-production phase, Jacob had a few weeks without work obligations. No film sets, no trips to extreme locations, just time for himself.

And he knew exactly how he wanted to spend this time.

At home, with Lucky, his faithful black Labrador.

At the gym, training.

And, of course, with the special women in his life, who were now more present than ever.

A Quiet Morning – Breakfast with Lucky

Jacob woke up later than usual. For the first time in months, there was no alarm clock, no director calling him to the set, no biting cold to face.

Just the warm Los Angeles sun streaming through the windows of his luxurious home.

He stretched and glanced to the side. Lucky, his black Labrador, lay beside the bed, fast asleep.

Jacob chuckled and patted the dog's head.

"Time to wake up, buddy. Got a great day off ahead."

Lucky yawned and rolled over, clearly in no hurry to get up.

Jacob chuckled and got up, heading to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. He grabbed a frying pan, whipped up some eggs, and made pancakes and bacon, the delicious aroma wafting through the house.

Once he finished cooking, he served Lucky a bowl of kibble and set his own meal on the porch table.

The dog ran to the bowl and began eating enthusiastically, while Jacob sat back, enjoying the morning breeze.

He gazed at the horizon, seeing the Hollywood Hills in the distance.

For the first time in a long time, he was simply relaxing.

Intense Workout – Maintaining Discipline

After breakfast, Jacob put on his workout clothes and headed to his private gym.

Even without any filming in sight, he knew he needed to maintain his impeccable physique.

He started his workout with running on the treadmill, increasing the speed until he reached an intense pace.

Then, he moved on to calisthenics, doing pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups, strengthening his body without needing heavy equipment.

While doing weightlifting sets, his phone vibrated with a message from Richard Calloway, his agent.

Richard: Hope you're enjoying your rest, because awards season starts soon.

Jacob laughed and replied:

Jacob: I'm training now. I need to maintain my physique, you never know when someone will call me for a new action role.

Richard: Or when one of your women will want to see you shirtless.

Jacob laughed. Richard always knew how to tease him.

But speaking of that…

In recent months, Jacob's life had become a true phenomenon.

The success of John Wick, his role in 007: Spectre, and now The Revenant had made him the most desired man of the moment.

And some of the most incredible women in the world were increasingly present in his life.

That afternoon, while relaxing by his pool, he received a text message.

Margot Robbie: Are you busy today?

Jacob: No. What do you have in mind?

Margot: I was thinking of stopping by for a drink by the pool.

Jacob smiled. But before he could reply, he received another message.

Emily Ratajkowski: Hey, I'm bored. I need some fun. Any suggestions?

Jacob chuckled to himself.

And then, another message appeared.

Rihanna: I'm in LA. What are we going to do?

He shook his head and muttered to himself.

— My life has truly changed.

He quickly typed a reply to everyone.

Jacob: Come to my place. Drinks, pool, and good company guaranteed.

A few hours later, Jacob was surrounded by some of the most stunning women in the world.

Margot Robbie, Emily Ratajkowski, and Rihanna were there, enjoying the warm Los Angeles night, sipping cocktails and chatting around the pool.

Margot smiled at Jacob as she took a sip of her drink.

— You finally have time to relax, huh?

Jacob laughed.

— And I'm enjoying every second.

Emily, sitting next to him, gently ran her fingers across his chest.

— But not too much, right? You still have to maintain that flawless body.

Jacob winked at her.

— Always.

Rihanna leaned towards him, looking into his eyes with a teasing smile.

— So… What's the plan for the rest of the night?

Jacob picked up his drink, took a sip, and smiled.

"Anything you want."

And that night, he knew he was making the most of his time off.

Chapter 37 – The Return to Shooting Competitions

September – October 2015 – Training Never Stops

Even on his break from filming, Jacob Stewart never completely stopped. He knew he needed to keep his body and mind sharp, both for future film roles and for his growing passion: sport shooting.

In recent months, he had honed his technique, regularly training dry fire, practicing quick draws, target transitions, and tactical reloads.

And, in addition, he was building relationships with some of the best shooters and operators in the world.

It was during a training session that he met other USPSA competitors, as well as some former Navy SEALs, Green Berets, and Delta Force operators.

These guys weren't amateurs. They were the best in the world in real combat.

And Jacob wanted to learn from them.

At a private shooting range outside Los Angeles, Jacob met with a select group of experienced shooters.

Among them were:

Kyle Lamb – Former Delta Force member, specialist in advanced combat tactics.

JJ Racaza – Elite professional marksman, record holder for speed and accuracy.

Dom Raso – Former Navy SEAL, specialist in CQB (Close Quarters Battle).

Shay Akins – Defensive shooting instructor and high-level competitor in the USPSA.

Kyle Lamb looked at Jacob as he loaded his rifle.

"Ready to train with the greats today?"

Jacob smiled.

"If I'm not, then I better go home now."

JJ Racaza laughed.

"Well, then let's see what you've got. We've set up a pretty tricky shooting course for you. Quick movement, transitions between targets, and accuracy under pressure."

Jacob took a deep breath, adjusted his tactical belt, and picked up his Glock 34 MOS.

The timer started.

BEEP!

Jacob drew his pistol in a fraction of a second and fired two quick shots at the first metal target.

He ran to the next firing point, switched to his Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 rifle, aimed, and hit three targets 100 meters away with pinpoint accuracy.

At the end of the course, Jacob finished with an impressive time.

Dom Raso, who had been watching everything, crossed his arms and smiled.

"Is this guy really an actor?"

Shay Akins laughed.

"If he decides to leave Hollywood, he can compete professionally without any problems."

Kyle Lamb patted Jacob on the shoulder.

"You have discipline and talent. But what impresses me most is that you take this seriously. That sets you apart from most."

Jacob took a deep breath, still feeling the adrenaline.

"If I do something, I do it for real."

JJ Racaza smiled.

— So you're ready to compete again?

Jacob grabbed an extra magazine and loaded his pistol.

— More than ready.

November 2015 – Jacob's Second Championship

The city of Las Vegas was vibrant, but Jacob wasn't there for parties or casinos.

He was there for his second official USPSA competition.

The event brought together the best shooters in the country, from amateur competitors to seasoned special forces veterans.

On the day of the competition, Jacob arrived at the shooting range and found Kyle Lamb, JJ Racaza, and Dom Raso waiting for him.

JJ patted him on the shoulder.

— The time has come, Hollywood. Let's see if you're up to the task.

Jacob laughed.

— Let's go.

He donned his equipment:

Glock 34 MOS pistol with red dot sight.

Daniel Defense DDM4 V7 rifle.

Belt with extra magazines and quick-draw holster. The competition consisted of several stages, each testing different skills:

Speed and precision – Quick movement between targets and accurate shots.

Shooting on the move – Hitting targets while moving in different directions.

Long-range shooting – Hitting small targets at over 200 meters.

CQB (Close Quarters Battle) – Combat simulation in enclosed environments.

Jacob concentrated while waiting for his turn.

BEEP!

He drew his Glock faster than ever and hit the first targets in less than 3 seconds.

He ran to the next point, switching to his rifle and taking down metal targets at 150 meters in perfect sequence.

Time passed, the challenges increased, but Jacob remained calm and precise, finishing each stage with impressive times.

When the last shot was fired and the judges calculated the results, Jacob was among the TOP 10 in the competition.

He didn't win, but he outperformed several seasoned veterans and proved he was a true competitor.

When he left the field, Kyle Lamb greeted him with a firm handshake.

"Man, you're getting better and better. If you keep this up, you'll be at the top soon."

Dom Raso smiled.

"You may be a movie star, but here… you're a real marksman."

Jacob smiled. He knew there was still much to learn, but this competition showed that he wasn't just an actor who knew how to shoot.

He was a real competitor.

And the world was noticing.
