Chapter 1 - Chapter-Echoes of the Boundless Realms

Chapter 1: The Child Beneath the Broken Sky

In the beginning, there were not one world… but many.

They were called Realms.

Some Realms floated above rivers of starlight.

Some were built upon the bones of fallen titans.

Some were forged from ancient divine remains — the Bones of Realms, fragments left behind when primordial beings shattered during the First Collapse.

Above all existence, legends spoke of higher beings: Gods who ruled elements.

Supreme Gods who ruled laws.

And something even beyond… though none dared to speak its name.

But this story begins in one of the lower realms.

🌑 The Ashen Vale Realm

A middle-tier realm built upon the ribcage of an ancient celestial beast. Its sky shimmered faintly silver at night because the bone beneath the land still radiated forgotten power.

In a small village near the Black Ember Mountains, during a violent storm, a child was born.

No one saw the parents.

No one knew where he came from.

The storm split the sky in half.

A pillar of pale blue light struck the ground.

When villagers arrived…

They found a baby lying in a crater.

Alive.

Silent.

His eyes were not crying.

They were observing.

His Name

The village elder gave him a name:

Kael Veyrion

No family name was known.

No bloodline record existed.

No aura could be detected.

He was ordinary.

Or so everyone believed.

The World System

In this world, power is cultivated through:

Spirit Refining

Pill Consumption

Bone Awakening

Realm Energy Absorption

Pills were crafted by Alchemists using:

Spirit herbs

Monster cores

Realm fragments

Low-level disciples used Body Strengthening Pills.

Elite sect members used Meridian Opening Pills.

Geniuses consumed Origin Tempering Pills.

And in every Realm, there were Sects.

Sects trained disciples.

Disciples fought in tournaments.

Winners became Inner Disciples.

The strongest could even become direct students of Masters.

Age 3 – The Silent Child

By age three, Kael rarely spoke.

But he listened.

He watched other children struggle to lift wooden swords.

He watched adults meditate.

He watched the sky every night.

Sometimes…

The sky seemed to respond.

Age 5 – The First Sign

During a minor village disciple selection ceremony, children were tested for Spirit Veins.

A glowing crystal was placed on their chest.

Most children glowed faintly.

Some glowed bright.

When Kael touched it…

The crystal cracked.

No aura.

No light.

Just a fracture spreading inside the testing stone.

The village elder panicked.

"Defective spirit veins…" they whispered.

Kael was labeled talentless.

Age 7 – The Bone Whisper

Strange things began happening.

When Kael sat alone near the mountain cliffs, he heard something.

A voice?

No.

A vibration.

As if the land beneath him was breathing.

The bones of the realm responded to him.

But he did not understand it.

Age 9 – The Man in Black

One winter night, a stranger arrived in the village.

Tall. Calm. Eyes like endless depth.

He wore a simple black robe with no sect symbol.

Yet every cultivator in the village unconsciously avoided eye contact.

Even the local sect elder trembled slightly.

He was not from this realm.

He was far above it.

He observed Kael silently for three days.

On the fourth day, he spoke.

"You can hear it, can't you?"

Kael nodded.

"The bones."

The man smiled faintly.

"You are not talentless. You are sealed."

The Master

The man revealed his name:

Master Aetherion

No sect mentioned.

No realm origin revealed.

But the air around him bent slightly when he walked.

He was not just strong.

He was beyond the Ashen Vale Realm's comprehension.

He was a Pro-Level Master.

He told the villagers:

"I will take him as my disciple."

No one dared refuse.

Age 10 – The Departure

Kael left the village.

Not to a known sect.

Not to a mountain temple.

But to a hidden space between realms — a Fragmented Pocket Realm built upon a shattered god's bone.

There, Master Aetherion began training him.

No pills at first.

No techniques.

Only foundation.

"Power without foundation creates weak gods," the Master said.

Age 12 – First Pill

After two years of brutal training:

Endurance beyond normal disciples

Mental control

Pain resistance

Master Aetherion finally gave him a pill.

It was not a common pill.

It was gray.

Cracked.

Ancient.

"This is a Bone Awakening Pill. It was forged from Realm Fragments."

When Kael consumed it—

The ground trembled.

Not the pocket realm.

The Ashen Vale Realm itself shook slightly.

Far above…

In higher realms…

Something ancient opened one eye.

Age 13 – First Friend

Master Aetherion finally allowed Kael to enter a public sect for disguise.

He joined:

Crimson Hollow Sect

There he met:

A loud but loyal boy named Ryn Halver

A calm girl with sharp perception named Liora Sen

A silent spear-user named Dast Korr

All were outer disciples.

All were 13.

They trained together.

Fought together.

Ate cheap spirit rice together.

Kael did not tell them about his master.

Age 14 – Disciple Tournament

The annual Outer Disciple Tournament began.

Winner reward:

Inner disciple position

3 Meridian Opening Pills

Access to Spirit Vault

Kael did not want to stand out.

But Master Aetherion gave one instruction:

"Win."

Age 15 – The Fracture in the Sky

Final match.

Kael vs the sect's top genius.

During the fight—

For the first time…

Kael stopped suppressing.

A faint silver pattern appeared on his arm.

The arena floor cracked.

The sky above the sect flickered.

High above in another realm—

One God opened his eyes.

And whispered:

"Impossible…"
