"In the beginning, the was... nothing. Simply darkness stretching over a infinite plain—yet HE existed.
Then HE spoke, 'Light, be' and light was. At HIS command all things came into being.
Then finally, HE created man kind, the epitome of HIS creation. Man kind was given the privilege to dwell with HIM for eternity and it pleased the humans and all the creatures that were formed.
There was unity, peace, kindness, joy, and most of all, there was love—pure, unconditional love.
Though there was goodness throughout all creation, one of the Higher Ones, a kind of angel, had a thought, which sprung into a whirlwind of thoughts: 'What's so special about man kind? What quality do they possess that I do not?
'Was I not one of HIS first creations? Do I not excel in beauty nor do I exceed in intellect?' These thoughts ran through her mind constantly and regularly.
Only one word could describe this: PRIDE...
And thus, the Higher One, Kallos by name, plotted to bring the newly created beings, the humans, to ruin.
Though she devised and tried all sorts of schemes, they all came to naught, for there was no way to bring down the humans. They were like an impregnable fortress, leaving no room for error in their make-up.
She was frustrated, she got desperate, anything that came to mind she did but it all failed.
While on the brink of giving up, she had an idea, 'Why not use humans to destroy themselves?'
And so, in her position of authority, Kallos was able to visit the domain of the humans temporarily.
She set her plan in stone, she deceived the humans and the glory that HE bestowed upon them, which was likened unto light, was darkened in that day.
When the humans fell into rebellion and disobedience, their domain, Gaia, was polluted, defiled and as such, humans were disconnected from the highest realm, Ouranos.
But before man kind left, HE left them with a few words, words of a promise:
'You shall soon return. Fear not that you go away from ME, it shall be for only a little while.'
As they left, man kind received the supernatural ability to produce the elements they see before them in their environment. And thus, mana and magic were born.
As the highest light in Ouranos shone with great intensity, a trumpet sounded and a loud voice followed afterwards:
'Tis I, Photos. "Let Kallos be taken to the Elders' Court. She shall receive further instructions there" says the one and only KING.'
Knowing well the evils she had committed, Kallos was anxious, worried, and so she decided to hide behind a mask and hide her evils.
She flew swiftly to the Elders' Court and as soon as she arrived, the doors to the court opened.
She walked in with her head held high, seeing as she was beautiful beyond all comprehension.
'You summoned me, great Elders. I await for your commands.'
'DECEIT' the Elders said unanimously, and her once picturesque countenance turned pale, for she knew the manner of evils that she thought she hid had been exposed already.
'YOU HAVE BROKEN THE COMMANDS OF YOUR LORD, THE KING. YOU SHALL BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY."
'W-wait...there has to be some kind of mistake. How can one such as myself commit such an a-atrocity?' She said nervously.
'JUST AS THE HUMANS WERE CAST OUT AND SEPARATED, YOU EVEN MORE SO' the Elders said.
'THE DECREE HAS BEEN MADE. BEGONE, MOTHER OF SIN.'
'T-there has to be some kind of mistake. H-how can you all do this to me?!' Kallos exclaimed in a pathetic and desperate attempt to save her skin.
'You can not do this to me! After all I have done for Ouranos, is this what I deserve?!' She shouted.
'WE SAID, BEGONE!'
Immediately fear gripped her, rendering her unable to speak. The mere release of an Elder's aura had Kallos flat on the ground, almost near death.
'MUST WE REPEAT OURSELVES? BEGONE O FALLEN ONE'
As soon as the Elders said this, Kallos was cast out of the eternal realm of Ouranos as swiftly as a bolt of lightning flashes in the now gloomy clouds of Gaia.
As soon as she landed, the angels that took residence in her domain fell with her also as they too had been corrupted.
When she saw this, anger took hold of her and she desired to wage war against the whole of Ouranos. And so, she charged at Ouranos before the gates thereof closed forever.
From HIS throne, HE, the Eternal King, gently tapped HIS throne's arm rest with HIS finger. This small gesture brought Kallos and her angels to the brink of death, as they all slowly turned to stone.
While gasping for air, only one thought came to Kallos's mind:
'KILL!!!'
'KILL!!!'
'ALL HUMANS SHALL PERISH BY MY HANDS!!!'
'I SHALL NOT REST UNTIL—!!!'
And so, the Higher One Kallos and her angels, we're brought down and turned to stone. Their petrified bodies were then trapped under the highest mountain in the realm of Gaia, Mount. Petra, for there Kallos and her angels were sealed.
Then said the King, 'HE WHO IS SLAIN BY THE SWORD, BY THE SWORD HE SHALL BE SLAIN'
'FOR A LITTLE WHILE SLEEP, O KALLOS THE FALLEN, FOR THE DAY SHALL SOON COME WHEN A MIGHTY SWORD SHALL PIERCE YOUR THROAT'
'AS THE CREATURE'S ESSENCE RETURNS FROM WHENCE IT CAME, FOR FIRE YOU WERE AND IN FIRE YOU SHALL BE THROWN'
And thus it was, that those were the decrees made by HIM yet to come to pass. The end."
"How was that for a story, Levi?" His grandfather said.
"Now then, off to bed little one. You have your big day tomorrow."
"We wouldn't want you to be late, would we? Right Aaron, Marie?" Levi's parents agreed with gentle nods as they stood by his door.
"Come now, father" Marie said. "Levi needs his rest"
"So it seems" Manoah, Levi's grandfather, responded.
"Off to bed, kiddo" Levi's father said as he blew out the lamp and closed the door to Levi's room.
And so, Levi went to bed in anticipation of his big day tomorrow.
