Rokuro trained with a singular focus.

Okamoto watched him for a while before nodding. "Take your time. I have other matters to attend to." With that, the instructor left the training field.

Rokuro didn't even turn his head. He ignored Okamoto completely and kept throwing.

Internally, however, he was ecstatic. On his fifth throw, the System had finally chimed.

Ding!

[Skill Unlocked: Kunai Throwing (Level 1)]

[Progress: 0 / 1,000 EXP]

The EXP requirement was incredibly low.

With his current grinding speed, he could push Kunai Throwing to Level 2 in just two days. Once he hit that milestone, his accuracy would be combat-ready.

As he continued to throw, the implications began to sink in, and his excitement cooled into a calculating ambition.

He finally understood the true nature of his System.

Once he learned any ability, the System would "digitize" it. Once digitized, he could use his generic EXP to level it up instantly.

If that's the case...

If I transplant a Sharingan or a Byakugan... I can definitely level those up with EXP too.

This was a game-changer. It was a godsend.

It looks like I need to start preparing early.

He couldn't afford to miss out on any power-ups. Sharingan, Byakugan, Wood Style Cells, Sage Mode—he wanted them all. If he could grind them all to the max level, he wouldn't just be a Kage. He would be the Sovereign of the Ninja World.

He could do whatever he wanted.

The more he thought about it, the more hyped he got. He almost lost the mood to train.

Calm down. If I leave right after Okamoto left, it'll look suspicious.

He forced himself to stay in the clearing, throwing Kunai until the sky turned black.

End of Day Summary:

Random Quest (Asayama Prank): Completed (+100 EXP).

Existing Stockpile: 700 EXP.

Today's Training: Completed (+500 EXP).

Total: 1,300 EXP.

It was enough. He needed 1,000 EXP to upgrade his new skill.

He quickly finished his daily set to secure the points, then opened the panel.

Upgrade: Kunai Throwing.

[Kunai Throwing: Level 1 ➔ Level 2]

Boom.

Instantly, a flood of muscle memory and ballistic calculations appeared in Rokuro's mind. It wasn't just knowledge; it was instinct.

He needed to test it.

He set up a small wooden board in the corner of his training room. Following the new instincts in his brain, he flicked his wrist.

Thud!

The Kunai struck the board. Accurate.

Rokuro grabbed another one. Then another. He threw five in rapid succession.

Thud, thud, thud, thud, thud.

All five hit the target.

They weren't all dead-center bullseyes, but they were all clustered near the center. Compared to his afternoon session—where just hitting the wood was a miracle—this was a massive improvement.

So Level 2 grants basic combat accuracy. Not bad.

If I get it to Level 3... that should guarantee a bullseye every time.

He checked the requirement for the next level: 0 / 2,000 EXP.

Give him four days, and he'd max it out. Then he could show off to Okamoto again, secure more privileges, and maybe even get access to Jutsu scrolls.

Satisfied, Rokuro crawled into bed and slept like a baby.

The Next Morning.

Rokuro woke up and checked his daily refresh.

[Daily Training Quest: 1,000 Push-ups.]

[Daily Random Quest: Smash the door of the room to your left.]

Uh...

What kind of trash quest is this?

He knew someone lived in the room next door. However, the neighbor was a ghost—leaving before dawn and returning late at night. Rokuro had tried knocking once, but no one answered, so he had assumed the guy was antisocial and ignored him.

And now the System wants me to break his door down?

This was clearly asking for trouble.

Is this System trying to turn me into a delinquent?

Can't I get some wholesome quests? Like "Help an old lady cross the street" or "Clean the orphanage courtyard"? I just want to farm EXP safely!

He grumbled internally, but his body moved on its own. EXP was EXP.

He crept out to the hallway. The neighbor was already gone for the day.

Perfect.

He could smash the door now, avoid the confrontation, and then ask Okamoto to send a repairman later. By the time the neighbor came back, the door would be fixed (hopefully), and Rokuro could play innocent.

He checked left and right. The coast was clear.

He stepped up to the neighbor's door, channeled his Level 2 Taijutsu strength, and unleashed a flurry of three kicks.

BAM! BAM! CRASH!

The wooden door couldn't withstand the assault. It splintered off its hinges and collapsed inward.

Ding!

[Random Quest Complete. Reward: 200 EXP.]

Rokuro paused.

200 EXP?

That was double the reward he got for pranking Asayama Masashi (100 EXP).

In this System, risk equaled reward. If the reward was higher, the target was more dangerous.

This means the guy living next door is at least twice as strong as Masashi.

Rokuro looked at the shattered door and the empty, dark room beyond it. A chill went down his spine. He shook his head, turned around, and bolted for the training grounds.

I just hope Okamoto fixes that door before the guy comes back.

The Training Grounds.

Okamoto was already there, supervising the morning drills.

Rokuro ran up to him. "Lord Okamoto! I'm here!"

Okamoto nodded, glancing at his favorite student. "How did your training go yesterday?"

Rokuro puffed out his chest. "Does Lord Okamoto want a demonstration?"

Okamoto raised an eyebrow. "You look confident. Did you actually make progress?"

"Of course! I studied the technique all night. I had an epiphany! Now I can hit the target every single time."

Okamoto was genuinely surprised.

Hitting the target every time after one day? Is he really that much of a genius?

Skeptical, Okamoto pointed to a tree about ten meters away. "Alright, prove it. See that forked branch? If you can stick a Kunai in that fork, I'll believe you."

Rokuro didn't hesitate. He drew the Kunai Okamoto gave him yesterday.

He didn't aim for long. He just threw it.

Whiz!

Thunk.

The Kunai flew true, burying itself deep into the wood of the branch. It wasn't perfectly centered in the fork, but it was definitely a hit.

Okamoto's eyes widened. The kid wasn't lying.

He patted Rokuro's head, a rare look of pride on his face. "Good work. Excellent work. I'll make sure the kitchen adds an extra feast for you at lunch."

Rokuro grinned, but he shook his head. "Lord Okamoto, I'm getting tired of the food... actually, I wanted to ask a favor. Can I train alone from now on?"

Okamoto paused. He thought about it.

His form is perfect. His strength is well beyond his age group. Basic drills are a waste of time for him now.

"Fine," Okamoto agreed. "Basic training is useless for you anyway. Just tell me what you want to practice, and you can manage your own schedule."

Rokuro bowed deeply. "Thank you, Lord Okamoto!"

"You earned it with your hard work," Okamoto said, smiling. "So, what's the plan for today? More Kunai training?"

"Yes! I won't stop until I can hit the bullseye every single time!"

"Go ahead then. I won't supervise you. just remember to come back for meals."

"Yes, sir!"

Rokuro turned and sprinted toward the forest, eager to grind his way to Level 3.
