Rasa's eyes lit up as the system rewards popped in one after another.

[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained a C-rank item: Sand Grass Seeds.]

[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained a B-rank item: Mechanism Sand Boat Blueprint.]

[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained an A-rank item: Mirage Blueprint.]

Two blueprints in one draw. Nice.

The B-rank Mechanism Sand Boat Blueprint came straight from that domineering mechanism technique. Build it right and you'd get a fast-moving desert vessel that could cut travel time across the endless dunes.

Sunagakure had sand in every direction. Every trip to the Land of Wind's cities or beyond meant crossing that brutal desert. The giant bull pulling the massive sand ship had helped, sure. It hauled serious cargo. But one boat, no matter how big, still had limits. Too slow. Too rigid.

If this Mechanism Sand Boat actually worked, it would change everything. Rasa didn't need it to hit full carriage speed. Half that would be plenty.

He could hand the blueprint off. No need to waste his own time. Let the experts handle it.

The A-rank Mirage Blueprint was even bigger. A colossal luxury ship built like a floating city—towers, pavilions, the whole works. Massive. Flashy. Tough as hell. One vessel that doubled as a mobile fortress with serious offense and defense.

With a ship like that, Sunagakure could dominate the age of voyages. Carry more people. Sail farther. Stay out longer than any other village could manage.

But not yet. Right now every resource went straight into building more Sun Disks. The Mirage could wait until the disks were done or until something insanely valuable showed up on the open sea.

The Mechanism Sand Boat, though? That was ready to roll. Low cost. High payoff. It could move goods for the village and get sold to the Land of Wind at a fat markup. The daimyo might be sitting on a poor country, but he sure as hell wasn't broke. Plenty of rich people lived in poor places.

Rasa called for Red Mountain Lieg.

The young puppet master arrived fast.

"Lord Kazekage."

"How's it going, Lieg? You got those two puppets under control yet?"

Red Mountain Lieg nodded, eyes sharp. "Better than the last time we sparred, Lord Kazekage. With those two puppets I can go toe-to-toe with most jonin in the village now."

Chiyo had called him a genius puppeteer. She wasn't wrong. Even after the Red Mountain clan tried to bury his talent, the kid was already catching up fast. Shadow-level might be a stretch, but elite jonin? Easy.

"I've got a job for you."

"Whatever you need, Lord Kazekage."

Rasa slid a copy of the Mechanism Sand Boat blueprint across the desk.

"This is the blueprint for the Mechanism Sand Boat. Build it exactly like this and we get a vessel that can actually move through the desert. Fast. Reliable. Game-changer for Sunagakure."

"I want the first one finished as quick as you can. Whatever resources you need, just request them. I'll approve it."

Red Mountain Lieg took the paper and started reading. The more he read, the brighter his eyes got. Typical puppeteer reaction. Chiyo had dropped everything the second she saw the Sun Disk plans. Sasori had only come sniffing around because the Sun Disk caught his interest. Same fire lit up in Lieg now.

"I'll get it done, Lord Kazekage. Full priority."

"Good. I'm waiting on good news."

Lieg left and Rasa picked up the sample issue of the Ninja World Big Events Weekly. Saki had dropped it off for final approval. This week's paper carried the bounty contest Rasa had ordered.

The "What Is the True Will of Fire?" submission call sat near the front, but the prize money didn't pop enough. Rasa circled the number with a pen and made a note to make it bigger.

The paper still ran two main sections—news and story—with ads sprinkled in between. Every major country bought space now. The Ninja World Big Events Weekly was the hottest thing in the entire ninja world. Konoha Weekly only competed inside the Leaf. Outside the village, even inside the Land of Fire, it got crushed. Rock, Cloud, and Mist papers didn't even register.

The One Piece serialization had hit the heavy combat arc. Devil Fruits. Three types of Haki. Famous blades. Navy versus navigation group clashes. The massive gap between Celestial Dragons and regular people. Readers were eating it up.

Two days later the new issue hit the streets.

Merchants lined up red-eyed and desperate, shoving each other to grab copies.

"Me!"

"Over here!"

"My turn!"

The moment people opened the paper they noticed something different.

"Bounty submissions?"

"Tell the world what the Will of Fire really means to you?"

"Anyone can send something in? If it gets picked you get a hundred thousand ryō?"

"Not only that—the winning entries get printed in the next issue."

The whole ninja world leaned in at once.
