Chapter 131 - Chapter 130: Obito: Who Really Killed Rin?

[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained an F-rank item: one tael of gold.]

[Congratulations, Host. You have completed your 100th draw and triggered the pity system, obtaining an S-rank item: 5% Ōtsutsuki Bloodline.]

[Congratulations, Host. You have obtained a B-rank item: Versus Points Exchange Card.]

Rasa's eyes lit up.

It was just ten consecutive draws.

He'd expected nothing more than the guaranteed S-rank pity reward.

But he actually got a B-rank item on top of it—and it was the exact Versus Points Exchange Card he loved.

This card was pure gold.

A single unfriendly exchange—mocking, taunting, whatever—generated Emotion Points that converted one-to-one into lottery points.

Rasa smiled.

"That means my third rumor hasn't even started yet, and I'm already ahead at the starting line."

He still hadn't decided exactly what the third rumor would be.

A moment later his gaze shifted to the S-rank prize.

"Use!"

The next instant, a familiar power surged into his body.

His muscles tightened. His chakra surged. Every cell felt stronger.

Rasa closed his eyes and focused on the changes.

"Five percent Ōtsutsuki bloodline isn't the same as ten percent. It's literally half.

But I can feel how much stronger this body has become. My chakra reserves jumped again."

He ran a quick mental test.

"With Sand Soldier: Emerge, I can now summon around eight hundred chunin-level sand soldiers at once."

His Byakugan had improved too—the range, the clarity, the penetration power—all noticeably sharper.

Rasa sat back down in his chair.

"Now… time to figure out what the third rumor should actually be."

The first name that popped into his head was still Konoha.

After watching Uchiha Madara die with his own eyes, Obito Uchiha had inherited the man's will.

His goals were a little different from Madara's, but that didn't matter.

With Madara's vision now his own, Obito finally had something worth devoting the rest of his life to.

"Rin… I swear I'll create a world where you and I can live happily together.

No war. No killing.

A world where everyone can live in peace."

Obito clenched his fist.

"Believe me. I'll make it happen."

A White Zetsu delivered the latest ninja-world intelligence.

Obito took the scroll and his eyes narrowed.

"Leaf defeats Hidden Rock."

"Hidden Mist surrenders to Hidden Sand."

"Leaf and Sand sign peace treaty."

Obito: "…"

The world… had found peace.

His ultimate goal was a peaceful world where he and Rin could be happy.

But right now, Obito didn't want peace.

He frowned.

In a peaceful ninja world, his plans would be much harder to carry out.

A world at war was far easier to manipulate.

"This so-called peace isn't real. It's just an illusion.

Fragile as paper—ready to be torn apart at any moment.

Only the peace I create will be true and eternal."

He kept reading.

When he reached the part about the Hidden Mist Anbu attacking a Leaf squad, his frown deepened.

"Hidden Mist Anbu attack on Leaf team—ulterior motives suspected?"

"Possible Hidden Sand and Hidden Rock scheme to drive a wedge between Leaf and Mist?"

"Or Leaf's self-inflicted wound to ditch the Mist alliance?"

"Or maybe the Uchiha and Takechi clans taking revenge on both villages?"

Obito's head started to throb.

"So… who actually got Rin killed?"

He wanted to find the real culprit and make them suffer ten times worse than he had.

But now he realized he had no idea who it was.

Leaf, Hidden Rock, Hidden Sand, the Uchiha, the Takechi clan—every single one of them looked suspicious.

"Fine. I'll investigate them one by one."

"Starting with the Hidden Sand."

Obito's eyes flashed.

"I know the Leaf well, but they have the Hyuga clan, so I'll have to be careful there.

The Mist is too far away and too weak right now.

Onoki of the Hidden Rock is too sharp.

The Hidden Sand is perfect. Their village is strong enough, Rasa himself is strong enough, and they don't have the Byakugan. If I can put Rasa under genjutsu control, he'll be extremely useful for my future plans.

I can check whether they're behind Rin's death at the same time.

If they are… I'll make the entire Sand Village pay in blood—ten times over."

Obito vanished in a flicker.

When he reappeared, he was already above ground, racing toward Sunagakure.

White Zetsu had already mapped the route and planted pieces inside the village.

Obito slipped into Sunagakure.

"This place really is poor," he muttered. "Compared to the Leaf, it's night and day.

Still, Rasa managed to lead them to victory over the Mist. He's got some skill.

But no matter how good he is, he's still just an ordinary ninja.

His vision is limited to village-versus-village struggles.

Nothing like me and Madara-sensei."

Obito reached the Kazekage Building and watched from a distance.

Rasa walked past a window.

Right then—

"Mangekyō Sharingan!"

A complex pattern spun in Obito's eyes.

An overwhelming genjutsu surged toward Rasa.

But Obito didn't notice something critical.

Rasa was wearing glasses. One eye socket was empty. The other eye was closed. He never made eye contact.

Obito sensed something was off.

"Shifting Sands!"

A sand soldier appeared near Obito's position.

At the same instant, Rasa used the technique.

He teleported straight to Obito's side.

"Magnet Release: Gold Dust!"

A massive wave of gold dust roared toward Obito.

Rasa's hand closed around the hilt of his Lightning Blade.

Obito's pupils shrank violently.
